Ive been there a few times over the past few years and quite frankly I do not see what the big deal is about the food! There is always a big line outside. I personally think the food is absolute crap and their salsa is even worse. I luv Mexican food and i am crazy about Chile rojo but the chili in this place is incredibly bad tasting! There again ive dined here several times and had everything on their menu and I still don't get why the big lines every day?? I think people like waiting in that huge line because it makes them feel like for the moment they're part of something big, something significant, something that matters - like a line for a music concert or opening day at the Padres stadium. There's two-way automobile traffic passing just a few feet away to stare at all the Narcissist's waiting in line for low quality food. I just do not get it. Oh well.
I told the Cook guy from TJ to wash the Feces off his finger tips cuz i didnt hear the water turn on and now they reserve the right to refuse service to me. Typical Paisa movida
Started eating in 80s thru few years ago moved to Rosarito. Once upon a time Best Value for Good quality food in all San Diego! Saw menu prices up but surely the fault of the Democrat policies raising Food prices! Still Great place and employees!
Don't believe everything on social media.
I've been going there for forty years.
Good to know.
Oh good I go there on my lunch break
Yay!!
