I just followed my Aunties to this parties with life music of Obey sunny and Peter. And our family likes them. Then I had no idea of what they were saying in their music! Now am good at understanding them and am now playing them and enjoying them My memories with my aunties who were The Who knows who Back then. Creating memories with my own family they like what kind of song is that? I say shut up! and dance with me. I know one day they too will appreciate as I have come to. Check out the proverbs, the insults, the comebacks, the invocations, the incantations all delivered with musical dexterity on top of first class guitar works and acoustics. And the talking drums!! O my God, who can ever forget the talking drums! Delivering a background backing of proverbs and insults and provocations in their own unique way. Truly, the Yoruba culture is great!!!

Dele Abiodun outlasted Pick Peters but Sunny continued many decades later. Chief Bolarinwa Abioro wanted to promote Peters as a replacement for Sunny in African Songs/TYC label after Sunny breached the contract and established Sunny Alade Records. Gani Fawehinmi got Sunny out of the legal tussle with a fine that was less than N1k as against N950k claimed by Chief Bolarinwa Abioro. The last time I visited Hotel Frontiere at Idiroko, where Peter had his gig, it was derelict. How time flies

I want you to go to his musical archive and pick one of his maiden records, you will agree with me that Emperor Peters is a composer and a gifted guitarist. That Baba called Abioro who nearly killed King sunny Ade vision killed Emperor Peters vision according to his statement in one of the Televised interviews.

Emperor pick Peter is one of the greatest African Musicians from Nigeria without any doubt.
