Michel Bascont always magnificient on clarinet!
Brilliant post/ I love it.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm 79 years old and seen Turk Murphy, with Pat Yankee vocal, in San Francisco, and this is every bit as great
Yup and Antherieu the clarinet
Who is that Tenor sax player weaving his way through the ensembles. Magic stuff with a full blooded swing !
Michel Bescont
Bernard ANTHERIEU clarinette - Miche BESCONT tenor sax - Christian LEFEVRE tuba
Always a pity when the front line forget to feature the rhythm players in songs such as this, great band though with an excellent banjo player!
You're assuming "forgot," and I wonder why.
You are correct, I assumed but would still have liked to have heard more from the rhythm section, the 'why' just being disappointment.
I understand. But it's hard to tell bands what and how they should play to please us, even in person: with videos, impossible. I hope you find other videos of mine that please you better!
@@swingyoucats You misunderstand me my friend, I love your videos and am subscribed to them. I thank you very much for all that you do for us. I would liked to have heard the rhythm section on this tune only because I have played banjo for close on 40 years with various bands like this and this tune was always my favorite to play .. love it! Thank you!
Bravo "les jeunes" ! Jo Luttringer (ami du regretté Gérard Conte) Alsace/France et non "Allemagne")
..real great....but the Banjoplayer is J.P. Dubois....
But, who is the tenor sax player doing a Coleman Hawkins impression ?
