He could be so proud of who he is, but he remains so humble!

have a question. Since God has poured his spirit out on ALL flesh ( Acts ch 2) and the Holy Spirit leads us to truth then why would we need preachers to do what God himself promises to do?

I jusg want to thank for your sharing of the scriptures in a plain and straight forward manner. I am learning so very much from the scriptures and understanding these scriptures with your explanations. So thank you, my brother in Christ.

one comment asked about dealing with seasons of trial [that could lead one to despair] and pastor begg had limited experience in that (and i am happy for him)...but so many do. one most famous one that comes to mind is horatio spafford, who on losing his four daughters on a transatlantic voyage, wrote the beloved hymn "It Is Well With My Soul". sometimes music can speak to and through us when little else appeals. in a more modern vein, ginny owens "if you want me to" ,... David's psalms come to mind as well. hymns have a way of turning our hearts and eyes to Jesus when the will is wounded

Unfortunately, Horatio and his wife ended up horrible heretics…. Like… really bad :( But, I think the song is fine. Stories like his help us see we really need to stand on guard and continue to walk with the Lord.

Slow down you move too fast
You gotta make the morning last. Simon & Garfunkel. Or how about the BeeGees with. Please be patient with your life, it’s only morning and your yet to live your day. Great songs I grew up with.
I love the way you work songs into your messages pastor. I’m a fair bit older than you but I love some of the songs we grew up with. Many thanks for your sermons.

I think he referenced Abbott & Costello's "Whose on first?" !!! How funny. Beggs has a great sense of humor.

The Scripture preached by Jesus has and do preach on politics. He teaches us laws according to our living and in every aspect of our lives..

Interesting question about younger teaching older. One think I (older) learned early is that, when it comes to Gods' word) the teacher will, normally, be gifted with the teaching spirit and we, 'elders', learn much from younger gifted teachers.

"Faithfulness to the Scriptures" then requires you to revisit N.T. Wright's version of Revelation - and Heaven as the Lord himself tells it Pastor Begg

What is your position on Dominionism? I just recently heard a little about it. It sounds pretty scary.

Some things never change like God's Holy Word and your sermons have the tendencey to stay on course which is good. In your dress code it seems you like to change with the designers can we still be dressed in modest apparell as the scriptures reveal..
