Can they learn more recipes from the night markets? and make them in the slow cooker? 😕
I’m stoked to get a new kettle. I hate that old tea maker.
I'm glad we don't have to use those big monstrosities of coffee machines and tea machines
So happy for the new kettle with all the new recipes ! Also the slow cooker too. Now if they can only add harvest orange trees and corn to the game my wish list will have come true 🤗
We can finally make hot cocoa?! Yay!!
I didn't realize that wasn't already in the game! I thought there was a stand from Seasons that had it
@@IronSeagull You can buy it from the stand but can’t make it yourself in Seasons.
Builders tea is just a nice cup of strong tea in the UK 😊
I love the new appliances & especially that they’ve freed our Sims from standing around waiting. As a filthy American (kidding), I always heat water up for tea or hot chocolate in my coffee mug in the microwave, despite us owning a kettle 🫖. When it’s single serving & as someone who rages at cooking, it just seems faster & easier. If I were serving someone else, I would use the kettle to be polite. I often heard complaints from Brit & Aussie people who travel to US that kettles aren’t standard hotel items provided. I suppose it IS kinda weird because I feel like they are every day kitchen appliances that always seemed common to me in many households. 🤔 And especially for hotels, seeing as you’d think they’d expect people coming in from around the world where that’s a common place item. Like, in James Turner’s Pink Flamingo hotel, in at least one bigger room he had both a squat toilet & a regular seated one for that specific reason.
Ha well they shouldn't use the kettles in hotel rooms anyways as I've seen gross things of guys boiling their underwear in them!!!
@@RedRoseSeptember22 🤣
It's just faster, I swear they're stealing time from us here 😅
I dont blame you, it's just less of a mess and easier. I too am a filthy american. I kinda use milk for the hot chocolate though, water tastes weird
@@TheAnxiousOwl I use milk for hot chocolate if available but have used water b4 too. 👍🏻
Ok but I never microwaved water for tea or anything like that. I’ve always boiled water on the stove or electric kettle
I never even heard of or thought of the idea before
I don't drink many herbal or green teas so I can't speak for those, but I do know the optimal temperature for black tea is 212 degrees which is boiling point. I wouldn't dare try to get to that temp in the microwave because I would likely burn myself.
Same I have an electric kettle lol.
I occasionally heat my coffee in the microwave, but my Spanish in-laws prefer the microwave over the kettle for heating up cup-sized amounts of water.
At work we don't have a kettle so I have to use the microwave for my daily cup of tea. But it feels like the emergency solution when no kettle is available. At home I always use a kettle. But if some people prefer the microwave, so what? Does it really matter?
What does surprise me is drinking hot water, without turning it into tea or something else. I never heard of that.
Boiling water in the microwave is still bizarre to me loool
American here. I use a kettle to boil water for tea, not a microwave. So glad we can use the pressure cooker with the Home Chef Hustle. The new appliances look great!
I have an electric tea kettle. My parents have 3 - one for daily use, one as backup for the daily use one so they don’t have to go a single day without when it eventually breaks, and one for travel if they’ll be staying in a hotel.
Though I will occasionally use the microwave to reheat a mug of tea if I didn’t drink it fast enough…
first of all thanks you for the video i needed someone to show how all of this works ! And second, I'm french and i felt pretty offense by the option of boiling water in a microwave ! HOW ? How could people do that ? 😆
that is sooooo funny actually. i remember growing up my mom would always make hot water in the microwave. we have gotten an electric kettle
wait wait wait...microwave hot water as its own beverage?
Who drinks just hot water??? Why are their just options to have hot water? What's it used for?
All great questions!
To hydrate yourself XD
Sometimes my grandmother drinks hot water. I've only done it to chase melt a werther's candy after accidentally swallowing one whole.
To make tea or soup
Drinking warm/hot water is known for being good for digestion. If you go to asian restaurants they usually serve warm water/tea or just any warm drinks. :)
I’m American and heating water in the microwave is cringe, and only to be done in extreme circumstances. I had to do it once when house sitting because they didn’t have a kettle. My grandmother trained me well and she was trained by her British grandmother.
Thanks for showing us these kitchen items in action. I didn't know there were so many varieties of drinks. I like the fact that some of them come with buffs, and I didn't realize heating a cup of water in the microwave was frowned upon in England.
Omg love the kettles
This is pretty nice. We have the ability to prep dough for pizza and stuff and now we can make rice n stuff. I hope we get a cooking rework that works with these changes. The cooking mods I was using still got scrambled.. Man I love mods but when it's one person managing it, it has got to be hard to do... especially when there's multiple mods connected to an overhaul
People are talking about how realistic GTA 6 is and they talk about how big the map is.
Simmers: If there is no loading screen when moving to another flat on the same lot, the game crashes. (2023 posibilities but sims 4)
By the way, I thought there's potluck? Event or something. Does it exist in this pack/game?
I’m interested in seeing that too
Yeah there’s a potluck event via the phone. I showed it on my livestream
If you microwave the mug of water, can you click on the mug after to make tea?
Can the kids use the kettle?
Am i hearing this correctly? We're spending money to boil water? Or is it the teabag/cocoa?
Both
Eh I'll wait for it to go on sale at this point. I ain't paying $40.
No it's not worth it to make hot coco without whipped cream. I rarely drink it without whipped cream and will choose apple cider instead.
I'm British and I don't think we do frown upon it. At least I've never heard anything at all about that. It's just silly when you have a perfectly good kettle.
Can Night markets be in other worlds?
Nope
I am British and if you want to microwave water then you do you 👍everyone is different
I'm glad The Sims team adding Nasi Lemak in the game. That food from Indonesia 👏
Yes, glad they add that. Favourite food in Malaysia too, and maybe in Singapore as well?
Reminds me of the Nasi Lemak Guy (youtuber) who travelled from British all the way to South East Asia, just to try authentic Nasi Lemak😊
@@second_second_ Yeah Malaysia have Nasi Lemak too
the pressure cooker had such a lazy animation. the spice bottles dump but the "food" does not. my goodness.
Would rather they have spent time making an animation to clean the pool, rather than insulting us with just having our sims swim in the algae. Would rather they not even have added it at all.
Wait…what?
Yeah, I watched a TH-camr yesterday show that the pool gets algae now and EA decided that to clean the algae your sim needs to swim in it 🙄@@IronSeagull
