I happened to book 3 night at that hotel in Jan of 2017 I got the main room and it was a very crazy experience. I spoke with every one there. The guy who cooks breakfast in the morning will tell you all the stories. On my last night the lady of the house gave me a bottle of wine so that i could go to sleep. I had every thing from seeing lights, feeling someone sit on the bed, my bath room door open and closed on me. I also had a great view of the music hall. Super creepy, super fun.

I didn't even think that Cincinnati was still a part of the United States but I guess it is cause the Trooper97 is there to rake pots. :-) The haunted hotel looks nice. The Victorian room theme is what was probably freaking you out. I find it very encapsulating.

I’m staying here in Cincinnati at the moment. I had to go to the Hilton to check a shop in there and as soon as I entered I immediately felt a presence. It was hard to ignore. I started to talk to the guy working in the shop and decided to ask if it was haunted. He said there was talk about it. Well I know for sure it’s true. I felt it . Anyway, I don’t usually get creeped out when I feel these things but this time I did. I wasn’t sure if it was because I came up to see my elderly mom and it put me in a sad place or it was just a bad vibe. I just wanted to get out as fast as possible. Cincinnati is a beautiful city with amazing architecture.
Always check your sheets in hotels, trooper. Even the supposed best ones mess up and can leave dirty sheets

Trooper, from Cincinnati, you can go east to casinos in Columbus, Ohio, then Pittsburg (Rivers Casino), then to Maryland to the Horseshoe in Baltimore, Maryland Live near BWI airport where there is a big poker scene, and to MGM National Harbor in Maryland in the Washington, DC area which also has a huge poker scene with big games! See you there, perhaps!

Check out priceline Express deals if you dont already use them. I use that almost exclusively for rooms if im not comped somewhere on the road. They're "mystery" hotel deals but they usually give you enough information to pinpoint the exact hotel. Ive gotten country inn and suites a few times for around 60/night at a 60%+ discount.
