i really enjoyed this. I went through most videos and 90% is more lifestyle vlog based and 10% work. Your's is the first i get the actual 'Work Day in the Iife' 95% of the time. So many things were relatable you working with ambience video's on your ipad and working in different areas of the house ☺. I can't thank you enough sharing this. I'm currently self teaching Brand design. Watching your realistic day checks most of the boxes i had for my ideal day.

do you make the designs in photoshop then transfer to canva to edit? what are the positives in doing that - it looks like a good idea but im not sure why

How do you go about charging clients for projects? It is based hourly or do you offer a package and don't mind working long hours? I am curious how freelancers make it work and create structure working from home.

I am currently looking into going for my masters. I’m currently a teacher but I’ve always loved graphic designing and doing things like this!! I’m looking into getting out of the classroom. What degree do you have?

Hi Abigail! That is exciting. I love this field and would recommend it! I have a BFA in Graphic Design. If you're looking to get into this industry, you could either do a self-taught route or go back to school. I think it depends on your goals. If you want the option for working a full time salary job, most require the BFA (but you may be okay since you already have a 4-year degree and you could add on certified graphic design courses?). Otherwise, if you want to be a freelancer - it is easier to have a self taught background. I will be sharing a video in the new year about how to become a graphic designer, which should help with your decision here. Wishing you all the best with this transition! 💛

Thanks for watching and for your kind words! I typically have an idea ahead of time, but I do plan out my week on Sunday/Monday. I’ll make a list of my todos by each day to understand what is due when! Most clients come from social media or personal connections :) I would start sharing your work and let everyone know you’re accepting clients! Good luck ☺️
