- This might be the story in Sf6 i just wanted to have fun and made this video from the Udon street fighter Comics with sound effects Enjoy but remember Spoiler alert if you dont want spoilers do not watch this video!

I feel like it's very cool that they made Oro teach Ryu the move Tengu Stone, knowing that Oro is Ryu's current teacher.

Akuma's ability to teleport is his ace, something Ryu never was competent at. Because Akuma is "The Master of the Fist", he has the potential to split the Atom with his hand, hence destroying much more than slicing the mountain in half and nuking submarines at the bottom of the ocean. He also has the ability to send Ryu to the bottomless pit where the Devil ends up for a 1000 years (also referred to Akuma as "Die 1000 deaths"), in the book of Revelation.
Well...Akuma should not have been left alive. He will most certainly become... Shin Akuma...no, Oni...no, Shin Oni!
I do hope we get to see Ryu and Chun-Li have their moments in SF6
I mean throughout the story they’ve only met each other a handful of times though in street fighter 3 the movie she comes along with him to go see Akuma despite Ryu’s warning but I guess that’s her caring personality I’m not sure it would be stupid if Capcom pulls that card out honestly

Shin can also translate to “True”, for example example Shinryuken translates to “Divine Dragon Fist” but for Shin Shoryuken, it translates to “True Rising Dragon Fist” it depends on how the terms Shin is used. I personally think that Shin Ryu means True Ryu because Ryu has found balance within himself and has awakened his true potential.

After watching about Ryu who was able to defeat Akuma ( Gouki ) in his strongest form Kuruoshiki Oni by combining and balancing The Power of Nothingness and The True Power of Satsui No Hado and becoming Shin Ryu in CAPCOM ; Street Fighter Comics , I thought back to Jin Kazama when he managed to defeat Jinpachi Mishima ( Powerful Demon Form ) by trying to control Half of the power that in his Devil Gene in Namco ; TEKKEN 5 Series.
Yeah But Oni is way more powerful than jinpachi and Ryu is More powerful than Jin in everyway

SHIN GOD Ryu is so broken in the comics he beat Oni that with 1 punch destroyed the moon shin ryu has oro's abilities it would be a good fight but in the end Ryu takes it for sure!

Hey, have you seen the latest Street Fighter comic Akuma vs Ryu?
Oni should be unmatched. Shin Ryu and Shin Akuma should be the better battle. I would still give it to Shin Akuma quiet easily, because he has spent years mastering the dark hado. Where Shin Ryu wont have nowhere near the same control over it.
Isn’t it deliberately shown that Ryu is a super prodigy that could surpass Akuma which is why Akuma wanted him to go down his path because he believes it’s stronger and he believes Ryu could give him that all out battle he wanted, Ryu also brings up the fact that “what is darkness without light” in other words implying that by balancing out Dark and Sacred Hado it draws out the true strength of both powers which is why Ryu surpasses Oni here
Should the battle have been more of a struggle yes I think so, but you saying Shin Akuma wins is a no go, Shin Akuma would get destroyed by Shin Ryu, and that’s just the way it is and I am a much greater Akuma than Ryu ANY day, but you just have to take in the context and process it
