- Today Savilles' Travels takes you to Marbella, Costa Del Sol in Spain. We stayed as a couple at Amare Beach Hotel. This hotel boasts its own Spa & Beach Club and we upgraded our room to Oh La La "The One" Vista Mar Frontal which gave us a beautiful sea view room, Half Board rather then Bed & Breakfast, access to the Spa & 'One Lounge' for free drinks and snacks.

The Hotel is clean and modern and worth every penny in my opinion, 'The One' Half Board option gave us lovely food and drinks.
POSITIVES
Location right next to beach and close to Puerto Banus
Beach club
'The One' Lounge upgrade was worth the extra money
Bike Hire was 16 Euros for 2x bikes per day
Great Comfortable sunbeds by pool and beach
Half Board food was very good with lots of Gluten & Dairy Free Options for me
Service was 5*
Drinks were excellent quality
Prices weren't too high for drinks
Pool Towels Provided
Chilled relaxed vibe throughout hotel
Access to the Spa with out room type
Rooftop Bar has fabulous Views
Our room was quiet and comfortable - a good nights sleep
NEGATIVES
Pool was freezing at the end of April - not heated
1hr from the airport but transfer was on time and comfortable (not much of a negative!)
Open plan bathroom - you can hear/see everything (toilet does have a frosted sliding door and room side of the shower does have a curtain)

well we did!! there was no one checking so I just popped what I wanted in my bag and took on my travels!!

Hi how did you get to the hotel?
In addition, did you opt for the lounge option with the hotel directly?
Hi, We had a transfer included in our booking but you could easily get a taxi as it isn't far from the airport.
We upgraded our room which included the lounge access for food/drinks when we booked. It was well worth the upgrade for us. I'm sure you can do this with the hotel separately if you prefer. The room came as a package with the access but I'm sure the travel operator was just selling it this way. Are you planning on going? I loved the hotel

Im been quoted 85 Euros for a taxi by the hotel. So looking into a transfer in advance to avoid any surprises.
