I'm so glad I came across you're video !!! I have been sat for the last few weeks going over and over every hotel, area in dubai, went to book today, was put off by a few negative reviews 😢, until I saw you're video, I'm very grateful 😅😅 wanted a British prospective ! I'm going in June July, probably be indoors or in the pool!! Thanks again for you're informative video! It helped change my mind ❤

Thank you for a great video, the hotel is one our list for our trip in Feb 25 and your insight has helped push it to the top. We like to idea of how close it is to the Nakheel Mall and the Palm itself but did wonder how easy it is to get from the hotel to the Mall. From the online maps it looks like a nightmare of busy roads - are there any underpasses or safe footpaths? Thanks again.

Here is my honest review as I am here now and not about to be dishonest. The room family room. I can not complain about it and if you get the right room. You will have a big size balcony. The only thing I think the balcony needs is sunbeds and a clothes rack. The food is hit and miss. I give it a 5 Ice cream in the restaurant only comes out from 2.20pm till 4pm and in the evening twice a week. The Entertainments. For the young kids. You have a movie night 8pm or before the Mini Disco at 8 30pm till 9pm The main entertainment isn't that great. My kids and i have given the entertainment a 3 as it's mostly dancing. The pools was ok. You got only 1 heated pool. The lazy river definitely lived up to its name as you had to paddle with your hands or grad the sides to help you around. The lazy river gets a 3 It was freezing also. The heated pool gets an 9 And the last pool gets a 8.5 The workers gets a biig 10 Security 10 Not much daytime activities. Might be the time of year in November. Housekeeping gets a 10 The shops. They l overpriced. So bring your own toiletries. Shower wash, etc... Water park opens at 10am. Some did not open till 2.30pm and closed at 4pm. Not sure about summer time Don't expect the sand on the beach to be soft. Its very grity. I would not let my young children play on the sand. Our overall stay gets a 9.6

Hey, was there salt water in the pool? Did you see the little sharks and octopuses? Is the sofa bed in every villa with nightwear, or did you have to ask for it and pay extra? Just came back from Skiathos on Tuesday. Stayed at the Thalasso, where you had your first night meal. Wandered into town thru those back streets. You did get a wee bit lost on the walk in… but very familiar with all those back streets and ate in the same tavernas. Was really hot last week and the town was very busy. Glad you liked it. Think we might just go back next year too😊

I’m looking to go here for a short break myself soon and was going to stay in the old town but as going in the summer I think I’d prefer to be nearer a beach and head in and of the town to eat, drink and dance. What would you Recommend? Thanks.

Really enjoyed watching this!! If you enjoyed the four days please do visit again because there is so much you didn’t manage to see and I know if you had stayed longer you would have adored it. As someone who visits the island yearly, I would say best time to come is early July, before schools break out, but so lovely and warm and the water in the sea is perfect for swimming. May is a little chilly! There is a few lovely walks into town from bus stop 4……sadly you took the back route! Next time go past the car park and graveyard and follow the paths down which will take you to the port quicker and is a much nicer walk. Try Kolios beach or Aghia Paraskevi beaches. The beach you went to with the ducks ( normally you see swans on the beach ) whilst is very popular isn’t my favourite and the beach bar in my opinion is very expensive and not that great! …in high summer those beds are 30 euros each and the music booms!…wouldn’t go again. So many restaurants that serve great food and out all the Greek islands I’ve been too, Skiathos is the only one we go back to year after year.
