Photo of Retired Investigator Posted on Social Media in YSL RICO Case

After dismissing the jury, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker addressed the media about a photo that was taken of retired investigator Lakea Gaither on Tuesday and posted on social media. A few media professionals addressed the situation and said they did not take the photo.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
