that’s good to hear! i completely edited this video to different music 4x and kept hating it. i was about to do it a 5th time (because this song ended being too short) when i deemed it perfect so i cut 30sec off the back and double layered it making the song longer so it would work 👍
Nicely done my friend. Cool angles on your truck crawling through the rough. Always love the water shots. Your panoramic views gave me a Rocky Mountain High. Drone footage looks great.
Another great video as always! Great shots great editing. And yes it was fun to watch the final product after the behind the scenes episode of this trail. Great job
Really nice video Brother. Great 4x4 terrain, gorgeous views. Appreciated the lack of music during the first half, really lent a feeling of solitude. The Nissan looked cool.
well this one DOES have the behind-the-scenes 3 part series haha. i certainly appreciate it, going to keep the trail videos pretty much as is because these are the videos i wanted to see 10yrs ago when i was finding trails. i’m getting to the point where i’ve done so many i have to get out so far to do a new one so i’m going to start being on camera more. How-To stuff, why the Xterra, locker tests etc. most have been done before but i’m hoping if i spend enough time i can at least bring something unique.
I got to that point just below the summit where there's 3 paths to the top. It started to get dark by the time we got there so we stopped. Does it matter which path you take to the top?
take i70 to Fall River Road and head up. on the right you can take York Gulch or go further up to Hamlin Gulch. it’s definitely a web of trails and probably has 10 ways to get there… i highly recommend getting the TrailsOffroad app 👍
How long does it take to film with all those different angles?!?!?! You can't tell me that's a drone the whole time.... That's some amazing stability if so. I was staring at specs of dirt on the ground to see if there was any movement and I didn't see any on several of the angle shots
Survivorman-style filming haha. i have some running videos on Insta but yea, lots of in and out and lots of running! this was actually a quick one, only 11 tripod shots, maybe 3.5hrs? Fins N Things was like 12hrs. i also thought when i got the drone it’d save me time but between taking off and landing and locking the gimbal, connecting etc with the added editing time it all just takes forever haha.
That's a hell of a way to stay in shape. Imagine if you could have the drone follow along in the perfect tire and suspension shots, AOA shots, etc then you concentrate on driving. Or pushing your rig up the mountain...........
yea, the batteries are the problem. i never precheck anything and have a small plan like “i’ll fly by my car on this hill” but then it’s all new to me and i’m just trying to keep it smooth and find something cool to fly towards. i got that main shot then the next one flying back and then landed. i was in the air maybe 10mins and was at half battery, alarm goes off at 20%… it’s always the batteries…
@@BRollOffroad i came from los angeles in 2019 before covid for a land rover rally in ouray. i am building a 4wd ford e-350 which i want to bring to colorado. so no definite plans yet, but maybe by fall. i can be the first patreon meetup !
It was great to see the video after seeing all the uncut footage from the series before.
thanks! as always made way more additional changes, trying to figure
out how to film and show How I Edit without it being super boring.
Sweet video!!
Tons of side trails in that area !
sure are!
Groovy music sure made it feel like a good time! I really loved the drone shot following yourself up the slippery boulder section.

Nicely done. I backed into that quartz formation and dented the back of my bed on it, but I still got up and over. Haha. Great video!

Great video as always! I can’t believe that I have never ran this trail! You inspired me 😊
really!? it’s like the go-to “medium trail near Denver” haha.
@@BRollOffroad yea man! I know. I just don’t know why. I’ve hit other trails around there a lot but we’ve never been up there. I need to go.

Very nice end result!

Incredible!

no they all lead to the same place and are all pretty similar, steep and loose. just slow and steady throttle and you should just crawl up it 👍
Awesome thanks!!
Nice video sir. Do you have it lifted? Do you think the 3 trail rating is still accurate?
i’m lifted 2” on 33” tires, also don’t have sway bars. probably a 3-4.
Where is the trail head for atv riding? Thanks
are there separate atv trails or do you just mean the 4x4 trail here? if there are supposed to be other atv trails i don’t know about them.
I think that it's the same, but I don't know where it is?

Can you be my trail guide when I come to Colorado?
do you have plans to already?
