Lol if I were her neighbor I'd already be used to it. My sister has been playing piano even before I was born, so I always hear the piano playing in my house. Even as I'm typing this, she's playing right now. I've literally memorized all of her pieces yet know none of their names.
@@bunnysenpaimon6742 Wow that's cool. I learnt piano too but not very good. I know most of the Symphony No 5 and 9 by Beethoven and I could hum along though I can't play.
I had a neighbor for a year that played piano in the motion picture and television industry. The landlord asked me if it was okay before they approved their lease. On weekends, I would fall into deep naps listening to them play the piano across the hall. It really was the best thing.
emmy wang same. most of the time i want to change my piano. but i always stick with the one i got since im so used to it and still like the sound of it.
I'm also a pianist, but not on her level. I wish I had the amount of dedication she has. I'm lazy sometimes lmao. My teacher and family scolds me so much. Seeing her makes me want to try harder.
Don't let them scold you. You go at your own pace. I was taught piano poorly and hurried. I was just played a piece then ask to play it reading the sheets. I eventually quit and now I regret it because I love classical music. Find a piece that you really really love and that you'd love to play and start with that. There are great tutorials on YT and if you conquer simple and gradually tougher pieces you'll get better. I'm working on it too.

I love your relationship with your piano.. I used to have that kind of relationship and I used to love playing but something happened since quarantine... I just don’t feel like playing anymore even though I have a lot of time..
I’m actually the same! I found myself playing the piano waaay less during the quarantine... even though I have all the time to play. I also don’t know why....
It did the same to me. I think over the years I've attached too many real-life goals to playing the piano. It's hard for me to practice and play just for the sake of it. So when the world seems to come to a stop, so does my drive to play.

When you think of classical musicians, the first thing in your mind is "ELITIST ADULTS". But everything changed because you have musicians/performers like Tiffany. And if you're a violinist, TwoSet & Hilary Hahn. Pretty sure there's many more out there. 💖
What an awesome collaborative effort here! There was humor and showed us exactly what everyone is always asking you. I laughed so hard when you sarcastically gave yourself the thumbs up, cutting your hair, touching your piano because we can’t touch our face. Absolutely, hilarious and informative! Looking forward to your fundraiser concert livestream this Sunday on May 24th!!!
Thank you teen vogue! We love Tiffany! ❤️❤️❤️ I became interested in classical music because of her. I am NOT a pianist, I play acoustic guitar. But because of Tiffany, I am now learning classical guitar and enjoying classical music ❤️❤️❤️
I was reading comments, and that comment made me so so happy. I'm a classical pianist. And seeing people getting into classical music makes me so so happy. Keep enjoying this amazing world
If I was her neighbor, I'd personally set myself a seat next to her house/room just to hear her play all day :) Oh and I'm a teen and I love classical music! There is always something so touching and heart-warming about it that cannot be recognized in modern day music.
I'm nowhere near one of the younger fans but, I do have an appreciation for classical music. I have a better understanding of the range of emotions and stressors you experienced that day. "You go girl", "break a leg but NOT A FINGER!" And whatever other silly encouragement that's appropriate. V/R
Congrats Tiffany for being featured on Teen Vogue! I am one of your new YT followers who enjoys watching your vlog very much. I am glad that you are being recognized. P.S. Regarding the humidity, you said you were freezing in the video and didn't want to turn on the heat to protect the piano by keeping the constant temperature and %RH. Not sure what temperature is in your room, but please keep in mind that %RH in a cold room represents much less moisture content than the same %RH in a warm room. Just don't want you to suffer the cold and dry up the wood in your piano inadvertently. Take care!
I'm so happy she's getting this opportunity. Spreading a love of classical music and the piano is something I love to see. I hope more young people will give it a chance hehe. I am proud of you Tiffany!! You inspire me daily.
Love your dedication. Have you tried fingerless gloves? The piece about grappling with technical difficulties - good for you, and what a great learning opportunity - about computers, how supportive your fans are, and about your own capacity for resilience in the face of adversity. Bravo!!
yay! amazing! i’m an aspiring young pianist and this showed me that you don’t have to be an uppity rich person to inspire people with beautiful music! You’re loved!
Thank you so much for sharing! I play piano as a hobby as I find the focus and dedication required to learn a piece to be very therapeutic. It’s so fascinating to see what life is like for those on a much more professional level. Even her chromatic scales are pure perfection :D
its not actually a pleasure to listen someone’s practice. It’s not music, its all about repeating parts that you’re not actually doing it well over and over again.
As a pro horn player - neighbours have always been good until recently they hate it. Really depends where you live. Most of us do 2-5 hours practice a day and they hate it. I have also bought these foam sound guards.
This was awesome. I used to play the keyboard, but I stopped in high school. Watching this kind of planted a desire to play again ☺️💖 I’m only mad I just discovered her now...but also grateful. I’m following!! 🙌🏼
I know how hard it is when something you have worked so hard for isn’t perfect. But when that happens I always remind myself that people (except trolls and haters) are way less hard than you are on yourself and that they will probably just remember the good parts. To everyone struggling with this: keep it up and be kind to yourself.

Very interesting about your warm up session. In Indian Carnatic Music, we usually use a complicated Varnam in raag Mohana (pentatonic) in varying speeds. It gets the fingers/voice warm and the pentatonic scale is meditative and calming.
Yup . That’s what I am doing every day. Warming up scale morning and Chopin piece must be nightly before bed. Sometimes I forget and stay on piano until middle..
