Blackbox is hands down the best 3d artist doing scale model car stuff around. Dude's a beast!
Is there a web site address for this ?
@@danpikulski6573 Tom linked to BlackBox's Cults3d page in the description
That cockpit tub is looked fantastic, I loved this series so much.
Really enjoy your channel. Even more so since you are able to print parts. FYI though. The Seatbelt latches should be on the transmission tunnel. Your paint jobs are amazing.
This way of doing the interior is so clever.
Oh, nice. Classic colors.
Great work Tom, nice job with the printing too. Looks great in the end, love the colours you went for. Well done 👍🏼👍🏼
Just a heads up, in all the us cars, the seat belt buckles go on the inside of the seats not the outside. :)
Very very nice interior!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Total Awesomeness 😮
Excellent work on the interior. That looks incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful build and color 😍
looks AWESOME.....Great video
Think it would look better w stock seats and formula steering wheel/ personally, whatever
Very nice details!
Great build so far. I love seeing you build the classic and this is one of my all time favorites. Can't wait to see more.
Super Amazing 👏 🤪
Looks exactly like the color I'm using for a 64 Oldsmobile Cutlass conv. I'm working on at the moment.
Great job on the details but the clear edges of decals on the seat belt buckles could be cut off before applying to buckles, maybe you softened them to lay over the sides. 👍🏼
Yes, they where softened and folded over 😉
What would you recommend using on the faces of gauges to replicate instrument glass? I thought Mr Color or Tamiya clear gloss or Elmer's white glue. Thoughts? Great work as always keep building your gems!
Thin clear packaging plastic
When I was a kid, kits costs around a $1. I cant afford kits today, around $25 and more. What has happened to pricing of everything? When I was young I could get a full size hamburger for $0.25. What can I get for $0.25 today.
Good working! by the way, What are Couple custom touches? That’s a mystery
Quite possibly the non-original or kit standard seats, steering wheel, the self made seat belts, or simply the flocked carpeting, as it's not specified in the instructions, therefore it's a custom touch
Seats and steering wheel, these are custom/after market and not the original parts to the car
Can I ask if you have ever thought, or done this, weathering the interior- seats, flooring, doors etc? So, making the interior look used, older. Just wondering if you have done that before. Using some washes like you use on the underside of these cars. Not so sure about the interior colour, but the kit is looking good.
I have not. I like my interiors clean 😋
👍👍👍
Damn my hands shake too much for those details but it look good.
Hey Tom! Excellent video as usual. Just wondering if you know the chuck/spindle size (max) of the rotary tool and does the chuck use a set screw to tighten the bit, or is it a conventional type of chuck?
I don’t know the size, but i do know its smaller than usual. My normal bits don’t fit in it. So i bought the DSPIAE set. It has 2 small set screws
Really good. What kind of material do you used on the floor?
Flocking
good video as always Tom. would'nt like to get my fat thighs under the steering wheel 😂
I wouldn’t even want my pinky stuck there😂
Steering wheel is too low!
Actually I think it’s more like the seats too high. Lol.
Hi Tom! I see you're using splash 1k primer for the interior, did you have any problem using it?
I was trying it and when it lands on the parts it's forming droplets instead of a nice flat coat, did I miss anything with the set-up or could it be sth else? Relatively new to airbrushing, would appreciate some insight🙏🦾
I had no problem with it at all. Could it be that the coat you apply is to thick? Or to thin, not sure how to interprit the droplets :P
maybe airbrushing from too far away so it dries before it hits the model?
👍👍👍👍
