TOTALLY AMAZING intercept, Simon and Juston! You guys got some incredible shots and really documented all the aspects of MILTON's impacts! Incredible edit, as always!
Fantastic footage. It's a shame that people lost their homes in this hurricane 🌀. It seems like the weather is getting worse, and so is the damage that is left behind. I hope you have a great day, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️.
My parents rent #39 every winter. Surprisingly they only had a few inches of water come inside the house. It also had a secondary roof so even though it lost part of the roof, it stayed dry.
I was watching it come through Tampa from my bedroom window. It was a very traumatic experience. It hit south of us but the damage here in Tampa was horrific. Places in Tampa that had never flooded before were flooded. I saw a big chunk of a grocery store missing.
Hey, watching from the UK, we don't get any bad weather at all. Some heavy rain now and again so this stuff is fascinating to watch. We had some strong winds yesterday, but only enough to blow my hair in the other direction 😂
I'm sure you were both pretty scared when the hurricane 🌀 came in. I remember you both from The Weather Channel when you had your own weather chasing show.
If that's what a 140 mi an hour sustained wind looks like then I'm not going to worry about hurricanes too much. I'm in Fort Lauderdale and live about 3 mi from the beach. Unlike my mother I'm tired of evacuating every time we get a hurricane warning. If it's possible to survive in a car during the worst part of a category 4 hurricane I'm not going to worry about it too much.
You are proof positive that it's possible to drive around in the eye-wall of a category 4 hurricane. And my mother evacuates every time there's a hurricane warning. She told me that she's tired of evacuating because after she gets back home the "Armageddon" storm wasn't that bad. Tried to explain to her that all of the video footage and pictures that you see are usually isolated areas of beachfront properties. My mother is about 15 mi from the beach. But she's always worried about the wind and the heavy flooding caused by rain. Hurricane warning means that hurricane conditions are imminent. I don't understand why she evacuates since she lives 15 miles from the beach. I have tried to explain to her that the pictures and video footage are beachfront properties in most cases. And that meteorologists who apparently understand these storms actually drive around in them.
I hope to see the videos of Hurricanes HARVEY CAT-4, LAURA CAT-4, IDA CAT-4, IRMA CAT-4, FLORENCE CAT-1, SALLY CAT-2, NICHOLAS CAT-1 to TH-cam Milton's video is a Masterpiece simon (Rating 5/5)

Awesome footage, Simon and Juston! This storm had a pretty wide swath of destructive winds due to its mature wind field. Remarkable hit!
Yes it was!

Great vid!!
Great footage guys!
That is so horrible... the darkness of the night and the weird sound of wind. Hope everyone would be safe
I hope so too. This is really scary!
That wind was actually howling! Really creepy and eerie sound!
"We got hit by a roof." Glad you guys are okay.

Wow! First class cinematography. Appreciated the time and date stamps. Also filming with street signs visible in the place where I live. Venice.
Your coverage is excellent ! Ty❤️❤️You both are fabulous meteorologists !❤️❤️
It's a good thing no one is standing outside with all that sheet metal flying. I've heard stories of people being decapitated by sheet metal.
Beard and no moustache is crazy but great hurricane coverage
Honest Abe Lincoln
As a Non-American, watching from New Zealand - it's Wild at how Flimsy some of those houses are. Like made of cardboard :(
Agree, older homes escaped newer, stricter building codes
just like living in an RV ..mobile homes fixed or on blocks
That airplane is totally ruined. It's just scrap metal now.

The level of the flood was quite high, and the flow was fast too. I wonder if everyone was alright?
Roof ripped off, but the screen door was still working on that mobilehome. 🔨
Good stuff very cool.

Always hide from the wind. Run from the water. We got almost direct hit with Ian. It was bad but made it ok. No surge
So scary moments.... i hope someday my home Bandung city never get like this Hurricane, because Indonesia never attacked by Cyclone and Hurricane ?
I don't miss that craziness one bit; I left 8 yrs ago.
Isn't there a curfew? Did the police ever bother you for driving around in a hurricane?
I hope to see the videos of Hurricanes HARVEY CAT-4, LAURA CAT-4, IDA CAT-4, IRMA CAT-4, FLORENCE CAT-1, SALLY CAT-2, NICHOLAS CAT-1 to TH-cam
