Yesung is known to be the King of the ad-libs. Always does the most technically challenging parts.
Seeing Heechul drumming, tears flow as the members figure out how to do everything for Heechul to perform together on stage. Minimize the dance moves or join the chorus at the end. Or give him a little dance? so that his legs wouldn't hurt so much🥺
Oh forgot to mention one thing, Yesung is known as king of adlibs (literally, I do not know of anyone in Kpop who can cover his adlibs with similar impact as he does; not even his own members though they do an incredible commendable job compared to non-SJ singers). But more than that, for most songs, he's the one in charge of peppering his own adlibs. The adlibs in It's You is entirely his own doing.
man being an ELF since their debut till now, its you has alwysa been my #1 favourite song, with how good the lives are, nothing can take that spot, solely becuase yesung adlibs in every live is so fucking bonechilling. Nothing will top that for me. Literally he does it with so much emotion I get goosebumps every single time. Ryeowook did do a good job wen he took that spot and added his own flare in that one supershow yesung wasn't pressent in. But yesung is truly the adlibs king. UGH hes so amazing

Heechul has trouble dancing because of a leg injury he sustained in a car accident in 2006. That's why a lot of the time he will only pop into a performance for his part and why he has a drum solo in Sorry Sorry. It's so he can participate without hurting himself.

As you said, it's a shame Heechul only comes in for 18seconds during 'It's You', yet all the ELFs are ecstatic and treasure every moment they can get with Heechul at concerts. Due to his tramatic car accident in 2007 and not having enough time for recovery, plus the high intensity dance trainings and performaces over the years, his body can no longer keep up with the physical demands of concerts. Any glimpse of his appearance at concerts now a days can get the ELFs excited!

2 - I 100% agree Heechul may be one of the most beautiful people I've seen! He's not my bias but he's the one who grabbed my attention in the very beginning. And add drums to that 😳
3 - I wish I was an Elf when Sungmin was still around, he really brings something extra to these performances
4 - I always tell myself Kyu has my favourite voice but Ryeowook catches me off guard every single time. You'd never expect such a powerful voice to come from such a cute little guy 😆

Yeahh Super Show is indeed THAT on a amazing scale! The vocal and stage act especially the bond between SJ and ELF was really the star of the show.
About the Sorry Sorry Answer if you want to check out there is another version with more "intimate/sultry" setting from SS8 (but just a short ver.) it then continuing with Sorry Sorry but this one Sorry Sorry ver. you will not find Heechul druming, it was Hyukjae doing his main dancing thing 😉

I can’t believe I missed this!! TH-cam let me down. But OMG what great songs to check out live!! The only proper response to Heechul playing the drums was to rewind it that many times so don’t feel sorry. Sorry, sorry no matter how many times and how many ways they perform it (they change it up) is always done that grand and when audiences are present it’s ALWAYS that loud. ELF get really involved.
If you want some live ballad performamces, the og is the islands, evanescence. The one where they sing in rotating circles. I also recommend watching their whole concert. Then try watching their varieties too: supertv 1,2 and superjuniorreturns 1-4, these are the recent ones
When you are with SUJU, you can see many versions of a song, and i like it😄...not monotonous👏💕💕...

Ugh the thing with Super Junnior is, they have 8 Super Shows so far (with possibly 2 versions for some i.e. Seoul and Japan tours, at least those that get turned into DVD recordings) and countless music shows/performances. So the same song e.g. Sorry Sorry is almost never the same in all performances. This is because SJ is always finding ways to present each song with a fresh appearance and sound (they love to remix A LOT).
At the very least, each Super Show has its own unique Sorry Sorry performance (if it's presented) so maybe for fairness sake (lol, cuz different people have different fave performances) you should one day react to the different SS versions of a song (depending on year, of course e.g. Black Suit would only be featured in SS7 & SS8). This is why I told you SJ-fatigue is real, lol... too much content and you may get overwhelmed.
Anyways for unit recommendations, some people have already given you a list but for some, these are the MUST-HEARS:
