As a S2000 owner, seeing stanced S2000s make me very sad. All that engineering and precision, and you dump it :'( Yes yes it's your car you do what you want but maybe take it to a track day first and decide if it's worth it to give up all that focus and engineering.
Stanced is completely STUPID and FUGLY ... I got 2 co-workers (millennials) that have their cars like that and drive down the road with their tires IN at almost a 45 deg angle and they think it looks good
I think the definition of "fit" should be clarified here. To me, absurd camber, fender rolling, and/or rubbing means wheels don't fit. (Unfortunately, too many S2000s suffer from this... and often compromised handling). The best, slightly aggressive fitting wheels, relative to stock, for the S2000 are staggered Volk TE37s in 17x9 +65 - 17x7.5 +48 and CE28s in 17x9 +63 - 17x7.5 +50. There are other brands with similar enough sizes but those two are ideal.
you made a video about fitment but literally didnt add ONE car that fit the wheels without any modification..... change the title to "Honda S2000 | What Wheels CAN Fit"
It would be nice if we could also get a category of functional/performance fitment, i.e. what are autocross and trackday guys running on this car? Thinking about buying one. Thanks :)
When I get back to the states I’ll make some money robbing and killing people with stanced S2ks. That’s like adopting a child and beating it in my eyes.
Does anyone have any info or pics on how 17x9 +22 would look on an S2k? I have TE37sl’s from my previous car in that spec and am wondering if I could put them on my s2k without it looking to ridiculous
Pretty sure they'd stick out like mad unless you add way too much negative camber. For that offset, you may even need to get wider fenders, so it's probably better to sell those rims for some with a higher offset 👍
Was hoping for wheels that clear the AP Racing front brake kit with a 255 square setup, and can take *at least* 1.5 Gs in a tight corner without rubbing. Last time I ran Maryhill Loops Road on Hoosier A7 tires, I had momentary Gs of 3+ (video on my channel). Since that road is on a cliff and has no guard rails, I don't want to risk cutting into the sidewall under high loads.
Need camber specs added for anytime you talk wheel specs concerning what fits etc. And lots of folks running 10 & 11 inch wide but running 215 and 225 width tires? Just a lot of stancy setups. Can we get a more track oriented S2000 setup video? Maybe another video with available after marked fenders/over fenders too.
Derek GA Hi, I’ve a chance of a really nice set of 18s to run on my S2000 stock body, I’m not sure if they’ll run smooth or not so any advice would be great, the wheel size is 215/35/18. 8.5 et 30
I have SSR GTV-02 18”-8.5 ET 48. Can anyone help me find the right size tires. I don’t want to have it stretched or cambered. I want it flush and have all the rubbers on the road. The S2000 is stock height. Maybe in the future I might get some BC coil overs with swift springs. Thank you for the help!!!
Yes the VOLK setup with 255 will run perfect if you are not to slammed u need to roll your rears or you will rub a bit of the fender lining at full lock
Can you guys recommend a fitment for work meister s13p for an ap1? Wheels specs and tires? I want to eventually take it track and don’t want stance tucked. Flush would be ideal, but if that’s not good for track then what’s best?
Have a look here, they have a good guide on what sizes+offsets fit at the front and rear s2000.club/OM/Wheel%20Fitment%20Guide.pdf However, you'd need to check about brake clearance.
Yes, I've heard of/seen lots of people with 17×9 at the front and rear, with a sensible alignment and ride height. However, I'm not so sure about offset- both would need to be at least +50
Check out our gallery! Each gallery add will give you fitment specs and wheels specs so you’ll see what you can run without rolling your fenders! -> www.fitmentindustries.com/search-wheel-offset-gallery
I dont know what and why its being put out. If it rubs, if you need to roll part of the body, if you need to remove part of the body, it doesn't fit. And if you're making it fit, its probably not safe. The car was specifically made to handle like an f1 car and be fast doing it, and all those modifications made it the exact opposite.

nope ive done the math . you cac stack a 275 on a 9.5in rim [forgot the other number. 30 probably maybe we should go old school 15in rims and fat tires

17" to 20" is absurd to say they will fit... There is no way you get 20" to fit without some nasty pencil tyres, a destroyed/butchered fender/liner and stupid camber.

William Bellis III definitely not my style either but if the car drives then technically they fit.
By your recommendation. Tires should be 225/255 front/rear for the same diameter? Or 215/255 just like stock.
Mugen gp and mf10 wheels were designed specifically for this car.
@William, can i throw either of these on a stock s2k? I don't want to mod suspension or anything like that. Thanks!!
@@Jeff-fc4by The two sizes I mentioned in my original post? Yes, you can.
Can we get a recommendation on what wheels to get without rolling fenders at all?
+55 and higher offsets on a 7-8.5" wheel
Exactly what princess said. It’s gonna be expensive to find the s2k offset but if you don’t wanna touch fenders then go for it

you need minimum 245 Width tires for no stretch on 8.5 rims
Yeah, even 235/45 might look a *little* stretched. 245 is a safe bet
