I have loved many of Tom's movies, but my favorites will always be both Top Gun movie, the last one being my top favorite. He's a born and fearless dare devel and an incredible actor. I wish him the best in his future.

I like Tom. I went to see Maverick and before the movie started he thanked everyone for coming and said that they tried their best to make a good film and hoped everyone enjoyed it. I thought that showed a lot of class. And to me the movie was great.
He is a very good actor. A natural. If you look at him in his early work in The Outsiders, he played an Okie outsider, something not that far from his own identity personality wise, but a part that was of a lower class than his real identity.He embraced this role however, by knocking out one of his front teeth, a very method type of thing to do. He had never formally studied this methodology but this level of dedication was something that came natural. He has that thing that is true to him, from an early age.
Definitely one of my favorite actors who NEVER dissappoints. Outstanding actor & person!

Tom Cruise is the only actor I sometimes find myself NEEDING to watch in something, anything. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that my dad used to look A LOT like him, but I also think Cruise is a great actor. For instance, the way he sings weakly and shakily through tears in the lullaby scene with Dakota Fanning in "War of the Worlds" has me crying my eyes out every time.

I just come back from Top Gun 2 and it was emotional. At the end I almost cried. A lot of people did, not only woman. The greatest actor from decades. I love movies etc, and was not in the for many years. I have a few cinemas about 10 min walking a way from my house. And I was very emotional coming from this movie. I will add. Stop criticizing Scientology if you do not know it. I am not in it, but I worked for them many many years. Best ever think happened. Sadly I left, worst decision of my life. Firstly, very well made documentary! Thanks! Secondly, while Tom Cruise may be just a good actor, he is certainly a brilliant entertainer. Thirdly, he is also (leaving aside his Scientology scene aside) quite inspiring in the sense that he really shows how to push oneself to the very limit, how to immerse oneself fully in a project, and how to be razor focused on what one is doing. I may not agree with his belief system (that's his personal business), but I certainly admire him for his work and his work ethic!

But just don't u derstand how they forgot it when they specifically focused on movies that came out RIGHT before and after it & spent time discussing The Firm which came out within 6 months of A Few Good Men. Just was very odd they spent time on The Firm & Gene Hackman but nothing on A Few Good Men & Jack Nicholson.
