i never heard a cambodian with a german accent. had no idea that there were khmers in germany. are there a lot of khmers there? and how well are you guys treated there?

yes, there are a few. My parents came about 44 years ago during the war and escaped with 107 other Khmer children to Germany. I think besides some small issues they are treated good! The new generation like me (Sambath) grew up in Germany and can get along very well with the german culture and communities :)
