I really enjoyed the video! It was truly inspiring, informative, and so pleasant to watch. Great job! If I had the choice, I would probably study in Japan or South Korea. 😌

Thanks for sharing your adventure! How was the temperature, was it cold for swimming?
During december it was a little cold. So it depends when you're going to do the cruise :)
@seekingnewadventures Will be going in december . Thanks

Have you guys been to Seoul? What did you like the most about the city? Let us know in the comments! :)
Have you ever had the chance to experience a traditional tea ceremony? Let us know if you did and if so in which country? :)
Thinking back the cruise was a great decision to do! We would definitely suggest the 3day / 2 night itinerary! Pleas share you experiences on a cruise in Ha Long Bay - we would love to hear / read about it :)
We really enjoyed our time in Kuala Lumpur and especially this night market! If you guys have any other markets in mind that are well worth visiting in KL please share them with us and others! :)
If you guys have good accommodation tips for Bangkok - please share them and let us and others know! How do you find your places?
Have you guys been to Koh Lanta? If so what did you enjoy the most on this island compared to other islands in Thailand? Let us know! :)

@@seekingnewadventures have a nice day sir😁
Yum!
Hej, was this filmed in January? I’m checking out videos that are filmed in January as we have just booked our cruise for January 2024 and I’m wondering how’s the weather. Your vid looks great!
Thanks for your comment! It was filmed at the beginning of December 2022. We suggest to get some warm clothes especially after sunset it might get a little chilly. I think during this time of the year it mostly stays dry even with cloudy days. Enjoy your coming trip! :)
A really beautiful place Vietnam seems to be. I look forward to visiting someday. Nice video guys!
yes, Vietnam is a total beauty - we went to this country 2 times because there's so much to see!
Yessir
Thanks for adding in the USD in your calculations. Visiting Thailand would be a first for me. Is Bangkok a centrally located city? I'd be interested in seeing other areas in the country.
Thanks for your comment! Many people start their journey in Bangkok. It absolutely depends on your interests - when we first visited Thailand in 2019, we directly flew to Phuket and only visited the island for 10 days just as "normal" holiday. If you're interested in mountains and nature - the northern part would be a good fit for you. Or maybe you prefer islands, beaches and the sea?
@@seekingnewadventures Thank you for the advice. I was planning on visiting Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos as well. With airfare from the states going between $6500 and up, my thoughts are to spend a few weeks in each country and treat Thailand as four separate trips. Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and Chang Mei. Probably looking at 3 to 4 months in all.
@@williamwood3694 sounds great! All mentioned cities are super accessible - you could do Phuket as last destination if you want to end your Thailand trip at the beach (that's what many people do). If you need any further advice just send us a message or feel free to watch our other Thailand videos. We've also been to Cambodia and Vietnam.
@@seekingnewadventures Thanks again for the information. And I'll have a look at your other videos.
welcome to Taiwan! i saw Leo Mi video then know you, please enjoy traveling in Taiwan!

Hi guys... thanks for coming to Borneo
Hey Madie, thanks for your comment! Yes, we really enjoyed our time in Borneo and we can't wait to come back again :)

Thank you so much! It's all about the journey :)
I was in KK last month… beautiful place (apart from the rubbish everywhere).. sunsets from Todak waterfront were amazing..
yes the sunsets are super beautiful. Sadly rubbish is an issue in most SEA countries...
That is why south koreans love kk.
Yes, we were really surprised to see and meet so many korean people! Currently we're in Vietnam and we also were surprised again in Da Nang to meet so many korean people again.
@seeking new adventures you see all this began before covid , KBS has a travel show called battle trip where celebrities go all over the world and then return to show videos where they went and how much they spent(exclude airfares). So some went to Canada and Europe whole others went to South east asia like Thailand, vietnam, langkawi, bali, penang, kk. There was one very famous Korean couple (senior citizen), who went to kk. I saw that episode. The places they went and hold hands and showed their love for each other was very captivating and touching. I almost cried watching. But credit must go with the camera crew as well. In the end they won in that episode. Anyway kk and even boracay has direct flights. One thing about malaysia, Indonesia and philippines, we not only have nature but plenty of wildlife to see. You do not see those animals so much elsewhere.
Where are you from?
Cambodian - Russian couple that lived together in Germany :)
A Filipino market in Kota Kinabalu really shows where Sabah really belongs. 🙂
Nope. It just shows we did not kick them out. That is all.
They are the refugees and their offspring who came to Sabah during the southern Philippines upheaval in the early 70s..most of them are stateless..
The real name of the market is the Handicraft market. People call it Filipino market because most of the sellers are Filipino refugees descendants.
Thank you for this wonderful video.
happy that you like it! We had a really great time in KK and hope to come again :)

In Malaysia we do have street food but not along the street because of a few reasons...safety for the stall owners and their customers, avoid air pollution from vehicles on the road. The hawkers are usually grouped together in a designated area where its quite comfortable to eat. If you go around town at night you will see these hawkers. Go to Kek Lok See temple.
yes, we have already visited some places! We went to the temple but sadly we couldn't see everything because we were a little bit too late...
Welcome to MALAYSIA guys....hopping both of you enjoy yourself while staying here
Thank you! We really enjoy our stay!
What made you guys sick ? Was it bcoz of the weather ?
I guess from weather and air-condition. Maybe we just had bad luck
@@seekingnewadventures pls be careful 1- it is not advisable to drink water directly from the taps (bad exp. from another expat.) 2-malaysian food can be overly oil - drink chinese tea (or normal tea) lemonade (for me) or coconut fruit water; This helps; 3-food here can be too spicy [if it is oily n red- spicy; taste n see] For Thai usually green can be super spicy😢 4-many foods have peanuts - ask if u r allergic Hope u can avoid and/or get better; Enjoy yr (next) stay
@@prof_xhew2929 thanks for the tips! Will try to take care for our next trip to Malaysia!

Chiang Mai was the capital of the Lanna Kingdom for at least 700 years. Some time the city was independent, but most of the time the City was a vassal state of various Burmese dynasties even right through the reign of King Rama I. When the British began to subjugate Burma and eventually abolished the Burmese King, exiling him to British India during King Rama IV reign, Chiang Mai was independent again but within a few decades, Chiang Mai King saw that Siam was beginning to exert influence to the North, the King decided to submit and even sent his daughter to become King Rama V's concubine. When Chiang Mai king died, King Rama V decided not to appoint a new king but put Chiang Mai directly under Bangkok's rule, sending a governor to govern Chiang Mai since then. Chiang Mai has it all, old town with several important temples, Wat Prathat Doi Suthep on 13 km up hill within 20 km from the city center and at the foot of Doi Suthep, there is Chiang Mai University, one of the four regional public universities in Thailand. The others are Khon Kaen in the Northeast, Burapha in the East (Chonburi) and Songkhla in the South. All four regional universities have all traditional faculties including Medicine and Engineering. There is an going project to propose Chiang Mai's old town as Unesco World Heritage within this decade. There is an annual Walk Up Doi Suthep about 12km trek held by Chiang Mai University to welcome new students. Along the way, there are bins to collect drinking water bottles/garbage manned by senior students. It is estimated about 20,000+ new and old students take part on this annual event held in May every year except during Covid. th-cam.com/video/QgZ4QW2C1yQ/w-d-xo.html Wat Prathat Doi Suthep and practically all temples in the North and in Laos as well have two Nagas (mythical serpent-like beast living underworld) guarding the steps leading into the temple. It is believed that Naga King is the underworld ruler and is a devout Buddhist. Thus, sometimes you can see an image of Buddha meditating under Bodhi tree with Naga King guarding behind with his 7 heads above Buddha's head to protect him from wind/rain. There are also standalone Naga statutes along Meking River on both sides of Thailand and Laos, the most famous of which is at Nakhon Phanom with 7 heads. It might be noted that one of the largest royal barge of Thai King has 7-heads Naga at the front. The mortal enemy of Naga is Garuda (a mythical flying beast) which is supposed to be God Vishnu's mount. Indonesia and Thailand deem Garuda as high class mythical beast and Indonesia's National Carrier is named "Garuda". Garuda is also the official symbol of Thai King, thus official document would have Garuda symbol at its head. When there is an official royal announcement from the King or Palace, the initial TV screen features Garuda for a minute before the royal text appears together with reading announcement.
thanks for the information
