back in those days from 2008 we used to travel to Kerala to thiruvella from Kolhapur Maharashtra via Mangalore route and halt at Kasaragod fifty kilometers from Mangalore but since few years we started halting at Bangalore and then continuing from Bangalore to Kerala ....for us the major reason to travel by car is the convenience or ease of travel in Kerala to move places easily and quickly.....nice journey vlog......👍
The .moment you cross Maharastra border, road are well maintained, no cattle sleeping in the middle of roads,, and of course generally following traffic rules. Crossing over to TN, you will find more cars and good people. Kerala roads are at best 4 lanes, but very scenic, and safe..I mean robbery-wise. Traveling through MH and KA at night is dangerous due to robberies.
We are planning a road trip from Kolhapur to Kochi and are considering taking the coastal route. However, we're unsure about the road conditions and whether it's safe to travel with family. We plan to cover the journey in two days (Saturday and Sunday Dec22-23). Is this a good idea? Could you please provide some suggestions and advice?
Hi that’s great. Yes two days for the journey would be ideal; you can start early in the day. Costal roads are perfectly safe in my opinion. However you might get some patch of bad roads. So avoid late night driving. Have a good trip 😊

We infact had a good and safe experience overall. And the roads were quite good throughout as well 👍🏻

Hi, thanks. We took the Mumbai- Bglr route and took a diversion from Sirsee towards the coastal route. The roads were pretty good too
