I paid for expedited service and mailed in old passport (had 1 month left before expiration) with the form all via snail mail USPS. The office in Philadelphia received it per USPS tracking over weekend At end of March on Monday the 24th March, New passport came in Saturday April 22, 2023. So about 5 weeks with Expedited option and all paid with Money order. Also got lucky and got newer model passport, they say it's random. Cvs Photo studio takes passport photos 2" square for $15.00.
I booked a flight from San Diego to Mexico within 2 weeks, called local passport agency, got a date two days before my flight, went there and paid the fees and got my passport next day. Was $255 for both passport and passport card. Rushmypassport was $699 PLUS the $255.

Real ID has Been Pushed back to May of 2025 to fly domestically you do NOT need a passport just show your drivers license to the TSA, Also Kids under 18 do not need a passport to fly domestically.

Global entry is amazing - TSA precheck comes with it. Recommend it to all.

They should have talked about Global Entry - Enrollment upon arrival and for passports - enrollment with same day at your local congressional office.
