The viking village is not just another LEGO set, its like an ideas set that is a polished piece of art. its one of the top ten or so builds, and best in its theme is a flagship model. the minis are a little off but its still a special set that is done with a lot of detail and printed parts, it is also something people want multiple of to scale out various mocs. It is a good piece value. I think that will retire best
It definitely has a lot of promise! Will be interesting to see what kind of discount we see from Target on it this year considering it has already gone to 40% off late last year.
Nice vid great metrics i appreciate that! I am in on spiderman's mask and invisible hand sets. Ive been picking up a bunch when target has them 30% off or more. Def curious to see how the invisible hand does with what you e shown...fingers crossed 🤞
Thanks! Yeah as usual I’ll be waiting to start buying for investing this year till May the 4th promos, will have a better idea of how supply & demand looks for these sets by then 👌
@@coreytpregent2360 agreed, my target buy price will likely be at least 40% off. Definitely a good question we should ask, not common for Target exclusives to see this many deep discounts early in its shelf life.
I don’t buy them for investing, flipping is too risky for me, especially now that they make 30k of each set. I did make a video on them about a year ago, if you want to check it out, it’s titled “LEGO BrickLink Designer Program! Worth Investing In?”
@@BrickDomain ah ok 30k sounds like a lot. Do you know how much a set like Lion knights castle or star wars UCS are made? 50k? 10k? curious to know if there is a correlation to print size numbers and investment return. Thanks ill check out your video now
@kartracerg3 it’s a lot compared to the 10k of each set they used to make. The buyer pool for these sets is smaller than widely available sets, so tripling the supply creates issues. That’s not to say future series won’t do well for investing, if many investors start to pass on buying them, they could perform better in the aftermarket. Hard to know how many of a set LEGO makes, but it’s way more than the BL sets.
@kartracerg3 Way more than BL sets. They have to continually stock their website, all their retail locations in the world and all retailers and stores that carry their sets.

@@BrickDomain oh I must have missed that! I would get another if on a sale.
Just getting back into LEGO. I love reminiscing as well as sharing the fun sets with my sons. I appreciate your videos, thanks for the info!
Awesome, appreciate the support!
Welcome back with some good videos and info
Thanks Tony!
Some great sets to keep an eye on this year!
Definitely!

Got to get invisible hand at least 40% off as it was twice already. A sign of low demand?
Or too high price...like all the starship LEGO sets which are regularly 20-40%

do you buy BrickLink designer program sets? i don't see you mention them for investing
