Tesla rates vary but short answer is yes, they charge more for non tesla EVs. You can subscribe to their charging plan and have your costs reduced to regular rates.
Yeah, EV supercharging is not the most cost effective way to recharge. Rates can vary but my rates for home charging are significantly less. For example 0-100% home charging costs me less than $40. However, with solar, my recharging is completely free and generated from the sun ☀️
On another note, my GMC sierra with the 5.3 V8 has a lifetime average of 14mpg. So 105/14=7.5 & average fuel pricing in California are @$4.00. Therefore $4x7.5=$30.00 to achieve the same range.
Wow that adapter is huge.
Yeah, it is lager than I expected it to be but it works and storing it in the front trunk make things easy
does tesla charge more for non tesla evs to charge at their stations?

👏👏👏
WOW $33 for 105 miles. That's about $20 in gas for my truck. Also takes about 5 minutes to top off. Talk about highway robbery.

Just checked lowest fuel cost in my area is $4.60
might as well get a Tesla lol.
My previous car was a Tesla MYP. The Rivian for my needs is a much better fit while the Tesla might be a better fit for others.
Which one? CT has less range and it's not really a "truck truck"
@@vaddimka LOL The Rivian can't power your home for 3 days in an emergency, or a campsite for days - never mind drive itself. 🎬
