    I just received my Auris Blume yesterday. This morning I put it into my system. Took no time. Easy peasy. So after all the hype , I was ready to listen. Everything I stream through my system by other means is lame by comparison. This tiny piece of gear is exceptional. Whether it’s streaming TH-cam or Amazon Prime, or playing your music collection from your phone or tablet, the sound is great. Especially the bass. Great value for the money. I did connect it with quality cables. I ordered directly from Auris. I got 10% off and free shipping. Couldn’t be happier. 😎

    I'm so glad I "accidentally" learned about Aptx HD today AND found this video. I almost purchased a cheesy bluetooth receiver. Once I learned about the Qualcomm chip, I found this video. So much junk is shoved in our faces these days, it's hard to find a quality product that does exactly what I want. This is exactly what I need for my older Yamaha receivers (RX-Z9 for example) and Klipsch Heritage speakers. Information such as the 2.1v line level out is just not presented to your average consumer.

    The 6.35mm jacks are better, however, a lot more expensive and not everyone has them or want them. It would be better if they fitted a 6.35mm and included an adaptor to go down in size to 3.5mm. They would only cost a small amount to include. $1 £1.

    I have an older 5.1 Stereo Receiver with both Main and Remote Left/Right wired speaker connectors. My TV is a new, Samsung 8K and has apps to TH-camTV, Prime Video, TH-cam Music, etc. Sounds great to me. I want to replace my wired speakers to the Remote connectors (outdoor speakers) with WiFi or Bluetooth wireless speakers - one for the left channel and one for the right channel - for listening outdoors. What kind of device will do this? I notice that my TV is connected to Video 3 Input Left and Right Audio on my Stereo Receiver. There is also a Video 3 Output Left and Right connector that I am not currently using. Thanks.

  • @Simone-qr6mq

    If I need to use an hi fi bluetooth receiver with newer mid range or flagship smartphones, is it beetter to go for Bluetooth Aptx/ Aptx HD or LDAC support?
    And in the end: to get the best sound quality and the same preamp output as a CD player, what should I buy between this bt receiver, the Audioengine B1 and the iFi Zen Blue?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as codecs go I think this a very subjective decision, I really like all of them that I can use so far, each has its own character on different recordings, LDAC is great ..IMO
      The b1 is a great device and I really do like its performance, however I have grown very fond of the Zen Blue, so much in fact it has replaced the b1 on my main setup. Line out levels are very good and are dang close to the out put level on my CD player.

    What is the reason for running the optical output to a DAC (then to a receiver/amp) vs running the RCA analogue output directly to the receiver/amp?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMO... No reason at all to use optical from BT receiver to outboard DAC then into Receiver. However, some listeners say it can be an improvement in sound. My elderly ears can not tell the difference.

      Yes and no.. The phone its self doesn't make much difference as long as it is a fairly new phone. (BT 4.0 and higher) The quality of music file make a difference, and how they are recorded.

    pardon the long comment. I am trying to connect my Pioneer PL-9 turntable to a BluMe Duo Pro so I can Bluetooth the music to another area. I watched your video, and I am not sure how all of the connections work. My receiver is a Pioneer SX-7 and the preamp is a DJ Pre II. I understand it correctly the turntable will connect to the RCA input of the Pre and the RCA output of the Pre will connect to the BluMe Duo Pro. The Pro has RCA connections, but it is labeled as analog out. I am lost at this point to know if I have the correct equipment to set this up or if I need to have something different for the piece between the turntable and BluMe Duo.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not yet tried the Duo Pro but it looks like you can use 3.5mm and optical to input audio to the Duo. The ART only has RCA out. You can try a RCA male to 3.5mm male and plug the 3.5 into the Duo.

However seems a good device

    FYI - I went to Amazon from your link to look at this unit. Therein, they have two videos. 1) “How to install”, is that tour voice on the video? 2) the second video, thirty seconds long, shows the back of a white unit, sure as can be, the left and right RCAs are reversed. 3) On that short video the “Right” has no ‘Red’. 4) on that short video the RCAs are not very visible per se but the cables show clearly and the confirm (as one cable has a red ring) that the RCAs ‘Out’ are reversed.
    All of the above really is not meaningful as to quality and sound - just an observation.
