Welcome back the another brand new grounded tournament with all of groundeds newest, strongest creatures such as: Assistant manager, broodmother, termite king, green shield bug, roly poly, black ox beetle, ant lion & MORE!!!
What's the best way to find out which is the strongest insect/creature in grounded? Have a grounded insect tournament of course!
Where new insects, old insects, big insect, small insects and some that aren't even insects can battle it out 1v1 for a place in the final and the chance of winning the grounded insect tournament.
CONCEPT:
There are 16 grounded insects (including 1 robot) selected at random and put up against each other in a 1 versus 1 scenario. The winners then go through to play each other, continuing this process until the final where the strongest grounded insect is revealed.

I think it’s unfair to have 2v1s. Having 2 fighters at the same time gives huge advantages over fighting 2 fighters separately. You got double the damage and double the stun. I would like to see the, fight 1 critter then spawn another one, sadly the health regen my prevent that from being possible. Still fun video tho
Yeah we realise they all do different damage and have different weaknesses etc. But tbh it's so much effort to work that out 😂 We do have a lot of other bug battle videos including 1v1s if you wanna check them out. Also thanks for the comment:)

Yeah pretty much, I've made a video with the original bosses/mini bosses fighting each other in their own environments and the outcomes are quite interesting
i was thinking the first time i faced both of them: if you have a ranged weapon then the Pit Antlion is FAR easier to defeat than the regular Antlion. cause the Pit one is rooted to the place, he´s practically stationary. so if you got a bow or Crossbow you can just stay away from him and hit him with arrows. the only thing the Pit can do against you shooting it with a bow or crossbow is dig below ground and throw a Spiderling corpse at you. which is easily dodged by straving to the side.
the pit antlion is throwing dead black ants, not spiderlings

My first big fight I seen in game was a lady inside an red ant nest. It demolished the entire nest 😂

Do you guys know that roly polies heal when they stay still and roll up in a ball? Them being the only creature that heals them self in combat means it would’ve been more fair for that battle to have been a one v one

I honestly had much higher hopes for the infected wolf spider
We all did. He well and truly let everyone down
Even though they have added more bosses than just the Broodmother the Brood should still be the main/strongest* boss because he could destroy the Mant, Ladybug, Stinkbug, and Bombardier, etc. But the Broodmother, Black-widow are still the strongest bosses in the game the mantis can be brutal sometimes, but is weak in general...

@@MudderChudders the mantis is a beast, but only cuz of its health. Have a green shield stink thing fight it, and have someone watch the health of the greens shield stinky m’abonber. It doesn’t go down that much... if it does go down a lot... I failed as a person

I agree, it's like action economy in D&D. The more you have attacking one thing the more damage they will deal while the single creature will only be able to do damage to one creature at a time.
Also there is the damage type resistances and weaknesses. Like the Ladybirds and Infected wolf. Ladybirds are resistant to piercing which is the spider's main attack. Advantage goes to the Ladybirds which skews the results. It's like putting a lightweight and a heavy weight in the ring together.

@@MudderChudders ladybirds are fuckin powerful, that double attack probably did half his health alone
They are part of the "punisher" gang (roly poly, ladybugs, black ox beetle kind of wolf spiders) meaning they are real easy to perfect block but if you miss the perfect block they do a bunch of damage, since bugs can't block the punisher gang is pretty formidable especially the roly poly

This was a fun watch! Mind if I ask how you determined the health of all the bugs?
I sat there for a couple of hours spawning them out the map so they just stand there and in the command console doing “DamageTarget 15” and multiplied the times I entered that command to 15 to get the value, any times I got the same amounts I would lower the number to narrow it down. - James

you should try this again but with all of the creatures and in the broodmother's den because of the size, giving the bugs more room for better attack performance

We've done something fairly similar that features all creatures in one giant arena at the same time. Check it out its our royal rumble one

Wanna know how you can find out? Test each of there bites on u then if they deal the same or near the same and have the same hp set em up against each other.
We know it can be done but there's so many variables such as different effects, some bugs weaker to others etc. That it's overly time consuming, but if you want to give it a go feel free :)
We have a tutorial video on how to spawn the creatures in and use mods if that helps

Here’s a suggestion, swap out the wolf spider and replace it with the black widow, I’ve actually played grounded and I know for a fact that the black widow is way stronger than the wolf spider, in fact I’ve a video of the black widow fighting an infected wolf spider, and the black widow won, the black widows are that strong, that is fucking scary, so you can take my word for it
Yeah black widow is definitely better, HP & damage. I don't think the black widow was in the game at the date of this video lol

No I can understand you. We use a mod called unreal engine unlocker and use the commands to spawn in the creatures

These fights aren't valid because you don't spawn the insects one at a time
If we spawn the insects one at a time it doesn't work because they wander off, they don't attack each other or get glitched. Trust us we've done this a lot
