I have the Mainstay Collingsport. I like with the exception of the continuous spinning even under light wind conditions. It will turn continually almost 180 with light wind. How do I stop this?
May I ask how many years you have used it, I guess it is related to the steering screw. I know something about umbrellas. Do you have any questions for me
I strongly have to disagree with your #2 choice, Mainstays. I just helped a neighbor to set up one. The umbrella wobbles with any light breeze. I’m glad I helped her out because I know this umbrella I’ll never buy.

These issues I’ve had these umbrellas are the strings the pulls the umbrella to open when rotating. It rips often. It’s weak.

The Mainstay Collinsport umbrella is no good. It is poorly designed, has weak plastic parts and very thin legs and tubing.
