People shouldn't use datura seeds, nor roots. Datura seeds are BLACK, and the fruit has spikes, it's a warning to not use it. The only safe way is the flowers and leaves.

You may have done well to mention that it's an extremely potent hallucinogenic/deleriant and deadly if too many seeds are ingested as well as the entire plant being toxic. Seems like something worth mentioning to me.

I only found out about Sacred Datura until I moved to New Mexico I LOVED the beauty ( I love flowers), and the fragrance in the evening of these “ wild flowers as they were on untouched land). My neighbor above me said.. hey that’s sacred datura, we used it in Vietnam Nam as a strong pain killer. Now they use it as a drug called Scapolapene. Oh I’m 65 and I remember in the 1970’s , drs. Gave this to women in 3rd stage of delivery. At that time they called it TWILIGHT SLEEP, as women remembered nothing. I declined all pain killers had a healthy me and healthy baby. Just wanted you to know the bit of pharmacological history I’ve lived thru. You do a wonderful job on your videos young lady❤️👍

Some one gave me datura to smoke in 1984 and I was hallucinating in another universe for 3-4 days. Took me 9 days to come out of it...But sometimes I think maybe the hallucination was reality...

Thank you for the great info. I haven't had any luck so far with mine. Tried soaking, cold stratification, scarificatioin...and now, I'm just going to put them in the dirt like you suggest! Actually, I'm going to try soaking some with scarification and there will be two pots of them. It will be an interesting experiment. Let's hope for better than 0% germination! I have hundreds of seeds, so this will be fun to try.

Omg is a child got ahold of a pod.....as a kid I used to eat wheat and stuff to look like a cowboy and be funny. I remember a datura plant grew outside a fence near my elementary school. The teachers all said we’d be in a huge amount of trouble if we even walked near it let alone put your hand through the fence and snatch a pod.....one day when it was late I went and took a pod and a flower and put it in my bag. Came home. Showed my mom and she said yeah it’s a pretty flower but we need to throw it away. I remember almost eating it just because I was 6 and stupid. Omg that literally was the best decision of my life
You have to eat the seeds. You'll partially digest them, shedding away the outter husk, leaving many seeds viable for growth. Try it out. Sounds disgusting but it works.

In my experience after feeling the Acid tab wearing off i thought id cut the trip short and somehow go to sleep, what a terrible idea that was. I was extremely confused, walking around the house speaking to myself, i felt very akward physically ( if that makes any sense ) my brain was wired 20 miles per hour and i remember thinking id rather die then feel like this.

Many if the varieties you get in seed packets have been breed to be sterile. Luke the modern cannabis grades which will flower and bud, but contain no seeds due to the introduction of a mutated specimens dna found that did it. They produce more and better now by hydroponic cutting, not growing from seed. Also many night blooming varieties of plants have often only a singular pollinator species of insect or bat or the occasional bird and most times are area specific. .

Around 1-3 for a micro dose although I suggest starting off on 1 seed. Strong effect generally on most but I have a high tolerance for some reason so I will take 15 to feel it a little.

Do not eat the seeds, the leaves and flowers made into tea will do the trick, 1 good sized leave.
You absolutely need a babysitter that you can trust to be calm and not take advantage of you in any way as it makes you highly suggest able to go with the flow.
This is not a psychedelic, it's a deliriant and a very powerful 1 that has little use in my opinion.
It does seem to stop opiate withdrawal, it would be great to see research done on what alkaloids are responsible, maybe save lives instead of taking them now and again.
Never heard anyone mention it stopping opiate withdrawal, are you speaking from personal experience?

@@mentally_till hi, no problem....#1, I would avoid this plant unless you are experienced in using acid, mushrooms and cati, this is a a very powerful delirant, and should always be taken with a very trustworthy babysitter if used at all, but it has saved me from opiate withdrawal, and when younger, I used to have some pretty good times on it, but I am not judging and believe anyone should have the right to consume what they will, but I strongly warn that it's very easy to be taken advantage of, or to lose stuff that is important to you. That being said, hypothetically speaking, any of the jimsonweed plants will do, though dosage depends upon the quality of said plant, it's trial and error unfortunately unless you are a good guine pig, but again that's kinda passing on the danger to another, I have been fortunate enough to find a large patch, have dehydrated them and then pulled out all the alkaloids using vodka, leaves me with a tary type substance that I mix with cornstarch to make pellets, they are usually about the size of a marble, but I would start with less, you can always do more.
I weigh around 150, have a great liver, and fast metabolism, all praise be unto The Most High God, I am just lucky I suppose.
I would start with one medium sized leaf, brew it into tea, sugar doesn't help much, but a spoon full of honey to take after downing that cup of tea would be a good thing.
Don't drive or do anything where you would need decision making skills, you need a babysitter, you won't be able to care for another for 24 hrs.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, freedom of choice is my moto,but I tell you Truthfully that this is not something to do lightly, it can really be a hell of a ride, but it does have a few good uses in my personal opinion and I keep some on hand in case of an emergency.
I can't stress enough how much this stuff effects time and space, please be smart about it, I am not trying to sound like Dad or anything, I just don't want to be the instrument of destruction to anyone, so warned you have been.

If you wanna see how crazy it can get, search for "detura trip report" and you'll find some very interesting accounts. You're right though, it is crazy, and it is poison. People take it because they want to act brave (which is foolishness- which can be considered to be a specific type of crazy) and then the active part of the plant itself induces temporary (36 hour) delirium (a different type of crazy, the more severe type- the 'obviously, very crazy indeed, mad hatter-type of crazy). I think its use got popularized by people from the psychedelic community who tend to research psychoactive plants in general, and come across this deliriant by mistake in texts regarding its use in witch-craft, particularly in hallucinogenic brews described in the folklore of the medieval era. People who read into that, and already like powerful hallucinogens, might be tempted to try it, but most sane people realize that its nothing to be messed with upon proper research.

Leave it on the plant until brown. It will start to Crack on its own then harvest the pod(s). Then let dry on your counter for a few days.

1.Datura isnt tree.2.It is impossible to even trip on 3-5 seeds. Amount like that is actually good for reducing nausea and it helps to sleep and datura is also used to help asthma patients (Atropine is very powerful asthma medicine) and it is even used for toothache.

it's hard to tell the dosage in the leaves but yes, it is used medicinally for reducing nausea. but still, this plant shouldn't be taken lightly as there are high risks in taking the drug in comparison to other hallucinogens. this really isn't the worst drug though...
You can also grind up the seeds to make a nice strong tea to have with friends😁. Then you can visit wonderland and see many cool things 🙈
