I went to Corinda, it was a good school & all, but way too strict. Not even allowed to wear our own style of earrings, only plain studs... Fair enough for not allowing hoops.. but how is wearing our own style of studs going to effect our health or safety? Ms Jamieson makes up way too many useless rules & it takes away the meaning of REAL rules. This is why students rebel against her. Teenagers need to try new things & develop who they are, we are not robots & Corinda is not a private school.
No tolerance for bullying but when I told the assistant principal I was being sexually assaulted by a student on multiple occasions she just said to me “next time he does it tell me and I’ll have a chat to him. Boys always get embarrassed when I have to have a chat to them”. But no, bullying isn’t allowed at all
At this school I've had bins thrown at me and my friends, threats and invasion of privacy plus the time that a student when around for a week stealing stuff from bags outside classrooms and no one noticed until a flood of complaints were made.

As a student at this school for the past five years, yes, it has improved, however, some of the ideas (such as the principal interacting with other students at break time) is completely and utterly false. There are some things going on behind closed doors that only a people few know about.
Honestly, as a student at this school I believe that yes we've gotten better but the talking about us being perfect is BS. We aren't a bad school but some of the people are bad. That's it. But that's every school
This is false advertisement of CSHS. I lol @ at the Principal. Sure, this school seems nice outside but there are things that go on in the school community that aren't noticed, a lot of big things go down. It doesn't even matter how many suspensions there are in a week. Also, if you like statistics, for a school with 1500+ students, the rate of people getting an OP 1 is very low compared to other schools with less than that. So yes, I do agree with Dunnybuoy, this is a "load of crap"
Bro Corinda is messed up one of my friends has been suspended 4 times for being in fights and drugs. She hasn't changed AT ALL. Helen Jamieson is the worst person alive, she full on ruined my high school days. Some useless rules like; Wearing earrings ruin the uniform (that aren't gold or silver studs), having our hair down makes the uniform look messy, but teachers can go ahead and do what ever they like with their hair, boys have to have certain hair cuts and if its not appropriate they get suspended. Like honestly, Mrs Jamieson is the WORST. Anyway, Have a good day! 😃

this kid pegged a chair at me from across the class and i pushed him and pushed him in the stomach, i got suspended for three days, but because he was in an excellence class he got no punishment, no tolerance my ass

Boi, I just finished grade 9, now going into grade 10. It does get harder there. Also the longer you stay at the school. The less you like it
they make the first the year the best so u dont leave. after that u get absolutely rekt by teachers.
