After Donna lost her memories, she felt the need for excitement. She tried everything to fill the void she had no idea even existed. She found herself auditioning for a play. Not that she ever wanted to act, she was nothing special. Just a temp. But the thought of getting on stage, her heart pounding and her nerves getting the better of her, called to her. She got the role to her surprise. She met a man there, David. He made her happy, yet she couldnt remember why.
Okay, I’m jumping on this narrative/idea because it’s too awesome to pass up! (TW: some River and Rose bashing) Well “David” probably reminds her of her forgotten husband…technically she had all of the Doctor’s mind in her head which would have included his real name which the knowledge of would have made her his wife (a much better choice than the Neverwere River Snog IMO…I mean she tried to trap the Doctor into the marriage by revealing that she knew his name at the Library which is a BIG no no for time travelers…at least the smart ones)… …The mind wipe and broken marriage bond with Donna are likely why the Doctor went all Time Lord Victorious…at least until he had an idea (or the TARDIS really gave him a mental head slap of an idea) of how to save his beloved wife/best friend but he just needed an opportunity to make the idea work… …He then heard from Martha that Jack had found out that Donna was playing Beatrice in a production of Much Ado About Nothing… …Jack had captured a rogue alien and then he had sensed Time Lord energy around the theatre so he decided to stick around…while also admiring/trying to seduce all of the hot up and coming actors…he realized that the Time Lord energy wasn’t the same as the Doctor’s and then he saw who the headline lady was… …Jack then secretly took a video of the whole production and sent it to Martha to send to the Doctor since the Doctor didn’t trust any videos that were sent directly from Jack’s phone anymore for some reason… …Jack knew that the Doctor was possessive of his wife (because of the pheromones that the Doctor was producing that were basically claiming Donna as HIS…hence Jack not risking a hug with Donna when they met during the planets upheaval) and that the Doctor would promptly lose it when seeing her (try to) passionately kiss the leading man in the play (Jack made sure to get good images of the kiss and UST that Donna was portraying in the play)… …after the Doctor cleaned up the mess he made in the TARDIS to keep from outright killing the actor who kissed/fondled his mate the Doctor decided to promptly manufacture a way that the MAAN production needed a new actor to play Benedict (though the TARDIS actually had to talk him out of killing the actor since the Doctor was still acting all Time Lord Victorious/feral and possessive about his mate being around rival males) and the Doctor decided to pretend to be a human actor named David Tennant and get close to Donna to try to get the opportunity to enact his idea to save his wife… It turns out that the Time Lord energy that remained in Donna was very slowly changing her DNA and body into a Gallifreyian, but the TARDIS figured out a way to successfully speed the transformation up…in the end while the Doctor and Donna were playing Benedict and Beatrice on and off of the stage the Doctor pursued Donna until she caught him…by the end of the stage production Donna had an engagement and wedding ring set on her finger and had successfully remembered her husband the Doctor once she felt their unborn child reach out to her mentally to say hello…and she promptly smacked her husband on both cheeks before sha-snogging his brains out… And yes the Doctor and Donna Noble lived in the TARDIS forever and tried their best to fill up the TARDIS nursery which the TARDIS loved thwarting by expanding the room in nursery after each new baby was delivered…thankfully they had already promptly retrieved Benedict (Ben for short since he’s the son of the right hand) from Pete’s world once Donna remembered that her husband’s Time Lord brain thought exiling Ben to Pete’s world with the murderous bottle blonde tart was such a good idea… …when Ben was retrieved and recovered (since Pete’s world’s Torchwood is all kinds of horrible) Ben let his mother know (since he’s still PO’ed at the Doctor) that when he was still the hand he was sensing that Jenny was actually alive…so they promptly went off to find Jenny… …after finding Jenny and having to answer some awkward questions about the birds and the bees Jenny and Ben were the best oldest children that the Doctor and Donna could have asked for… …plus Donna was relieved that the Doctor could take a non-pregnant sensible person (to try to stop him when he’s going too far) with him when he left the TARDIS while the Doctor was happy that there was a sensible someone to stay with his overly pregnant (due any day) wife and their younger children… Some of the ideas were somewhat inspired by fanfiction from the live journals of: tardis_mole, tkel-paris, and bas-math-girl…but I just threw some plot bunnies into a blender and this came out! Also Big Finish has made some more 10th Doctor and Donna audiobooks (pre metacrisis) that are actually voiced by David Tennant and Catherine Tate! You can find some of those audiobook collections on audible.com
For all of us who could not get tickets, and to quote to words of one of our (if not the) most favourite gingers - I b***dy love you! :D Thank you for posting, pbbes :)
You can buy or rent it at Digital Theatre online, pretty cheaply, apparently. :) The quality seems to be really good, here on youtube they have some scenes from the Digital Theatre version posted, so you can check them out. Not the same thing as watching it live, of course, but you know, just as a hint. :)
for anyone who wants to see this play, digital theatre as put it on digital download for something like 10 euros, if you live in the US UK or Europe you'll be able to download it. There's not going to be a DVD, and i would highly suggest to buy it instead of illegally download it, not because i like to be captain justice, just because maybe it will encourage other producers to find a way to let those who were not able to go to the theatre watch it. Go to digital theatre and ship tennant/tate ;)
@pbbes i'm not english myself, but i bought the "book" of the play, both in english and italian, so it's like having the transcripted screenplay, with no need of subtitles. I do understand how difficult it is to watch something in a language that is not your own, and i do know how difficult the Shakesperean language is, but the original play at hand will show you just how great not only the play in itself is, but how it's magnificently written.
thank you so much for putting this up. i know technically its illegall and all that blah blah blah, but seeing this is less than 3 minutes of the show (which lasted at least two hours) I have no complaints. I was lucky enough to see the show (my family was going to london for a week for holidays, just as this was running and i begged and grovelled on my knees), but I wish i could see it again. Digital theatre better hurry up!
I understand what you say, inform the work this long to buy anywhere in the world. This works great to sell, but have a failure with no subtitles and not English people can not possibly understand. So we turn to the work file to download between us to put captions, but I've bought all equally. A thousand kisses
@Bonnelda i don't know about australia, but you can check on the website or contact digital theatre itself. I think you can, but you have to use a credit card. I'm italian and i used my visa card. However i can't post you the linkto the website, just tipe in google digital theatre, you'll find it straight away
@hereverydayadventure Hello, not on DVD, I buy it in digtal theater and I asked and they said that so far not taken out on DVD, so if we have a version taken from a top quality digital theater, if you tell me,
@Filmlover4ever Hello! Unfortunately I could not see .. I live in Spain and my go is much expense, but I passed a friend and put it on my channel, I get him out on DVD
Jfifigiigot David's wiggling and the way he climbs like a koala to get the sonnet back have me on the flooooooor Benedick is my favorite character of any of Shakespeare's Comedies and Tennant is my favorite Benedick faaar and away
David Tennant can "stop my mouth" any damn time he wants too!!! OH OH OH!!! Plus, you can go to imdbfree.com and watch the full show (if you are inclined to do so)
I do not understand your comment. We are a group of Spanish fans, and all digital theater we paid for the work. So we have not robbed anyone, this video is only recorded in the theater piece by someone else for people to see the work as is. So what better to steal you tell the person who steals
"U ain't mating with me sunshine"
Hahahahahaa!!!!
Ironic
No no a mate, I want a mate
HELP
😂😂😂
LOVE David Tennant and Catherine Tate! They have such natural stage chemistry! It's freaking amazing! :D
unlike christopher eccelston and billie peiper followed with matt smith and jenna-colman
Awwwwweee! These two have such great chemistry. I get a big goofy grin on my face every time they act or appear together on shows. Thanks for posting.
Same. Im like they could just stand there on a screen together n id be happy
This was a phenomenal production! It was wonderful to see a director remember that it's supposed to be a comedy!
Can't tell who I'm more jealous of, Tennant or Tate xD
Lol same
Big bi mood
I’m most jealous of the person sitting in the front row at this play
YES
I had to tell myself, "It's NOT The Doctor and Donna!" I love these guys' chemistry!
I don't know who I'm more jealous of, Catherine or David
*laughs in bisexual*
These two are fantastic in these roles hahahahaha David Tennant is probably my favourite actor.
Every time he reached into his inside blazer pocket, i thought he was teaching for the sonic screwdriver
Just so long as he doesn't turn her into a Billie Piper doll this time.
E3ECO i dont think she will be boverred
After Donna lost her memories, she felt the need for excitement. She tried everything to fill the void she had no idea even existed. She found herself auditioning for a play. Not that she ever wanted to act, she was nothing special. Just a temp. But the thought of getting on stage, her heart pounding and her nerves getting the better of her, called to her. She got the role to her surprise. She met a man there, David. He made her happy, yet she couldnt remember why.
Dont mess with my feelings like that
Do u write fanfiction? Cause if u dont u really should
Okay, I’m jumping on this narrative/idea because it’s too awesome to pass up!
(TW: some River and Rose bashing)
Well “David” probably reminds her of her forgotten husband…technically she had all of the Doctor’s mind in her head which would have included his real name which the knowledge of would have made her his wife (a much better choice than the Neverwere River Snog IMO…I mean she tried to trap the Doctor into the marriage by revealing that she knew his name at the Library which is a BIG no no for time travelers…at least the smart ones)…
…The mind wipe and broken marriage bond with Donna are likely why the Doctor went all Time Lord Victorious…at least until he had an idea (or the TARDIS really gave him a mental head slap of an idea) of how to save his beloved wife/best friend but he just needed an opportunity to make the idea work…
…He then heard from Martha that Jack had found out that Donna was playing Beatrice in a production of Much Ado About Nothing…
…Jack had captured a rogue alien and then he had sensed Time Lord energy around the theatre so he decided to stick around…while also admiring/trying to seduce all of the hot up and coming actors…he realized that the Time Lord energy wasn’t the same as the Doctor’s and then he saw who the headline lady was…
…Jack then secretly took a video of the whole production and sent it to Martha to send to the Doctor since the Doctor didn’t trust any videos that were sent directly from Jack’s phone anymore for some reason…
…Jack knew that the Doctor was possessive of his wife (because of the pheromones that the Doctor was producing that were basically claiming Donna as HIS…hence Jack not risking a hug with Donna when they met during the planets upheaval) and that the Doctor would promptly lose it when seeing her (try to) passionately kiss the leading man in the play (Jack made sure to get good images of the kiss and UST that Donna was portraying in the play)…
…after the Doctor cleaned up the mess he made in the TARDIS to keep from outright killing the actor who kissed/fondled his mate the Doctor decided to promptly manufacture a way that the MAAN production needed a new actor to play Benedict (though the TARDIS actually had to talk him out of killing the actor since the Doctor was still acting all Time Lord Victorious/feral and possessive about his mate being around rival males) and the Doctor decided to pretend to be a human actor named David Tennant and get close to Donna to try to get the opportunity to enact his idea to save his wife…
It turns out that the Time Lord energy that remained in Donna was very slowly changing her DNA and body into a Gallifreyian, but the TARDIS figured out a way to successfully speed the transformation up…in the end while the Doctor and Donna were playing Benedict and Beatrice on and off of the stage the Doctor pursued Donna until she caught him…by the end of the stage production Donna had an engagement and wedding ring set on her finger and had successfully remembered her husband the Doctor once she felt their unborn child reach out to her mentally to say hello…and she promptly smacked her husband on both cheeks before sha-snogging his brains out…
And yes the Doctor and Donna Noble lived in the TARDIS forever and tried their best to fill up the TARDIS nursery which the TARDIS loved thwarting by expanding the room in nursery after each new baby was delivered…thankfully they had already promptly retrieved Benedict (Ben for short since he’s the son of the right hand) from Pete’s world once Donna remembered that her husband’s Time Lord brain thought exiling Ben to Pete’s world with the murderous bottle blonde tart was such a good idea…
…when Ben was retrieved and recovered (since Pete’s world’s Torchwood is all kinds of horrible) Ben let his mother know (since he’s still PO’ed at the Doctor) that when he was still the hand he was sensing that Jenny was actually alive…so they promptly went off to find Jenny…
…after finding Jenny and having to answer some awkward questions about the birds and the bees Jenny and Ben were the best oldest children that the Doctor and Donna could have asked for…
…plus Donna was relieved that the Doctor could take a non-pregnant sensible person (to try to stop him when he’s going too far) with him when he left the TARDIS while the Doctor was happy that there was a sensible someone to stay with his overly pregnant (due any day) wife and their younger children…
Some of the ideas were somewhat inspired by fanfiction from the live journals of: tardis_mole, tkel-paris, and bas-math-girl…but I just threw some plot bunnies into a blender and this came out!

Woah! That kiss was phenomenal!
Wouldn't mind being her right about now! ;)
I wouldn´t mind being David in that moment - she´s old enough to be my mother and she´s still quite the looker ;)
I'd go the Jack Harkness route and take'em both to bed!
I CAN HEAR THE NOISE WHEN THEY KISS
BE STILL MY BEATING HEART
That was one hell of a kiss!
1.51 Lol, if Doctor and Donna ever got together it would be just like this. *watches further unable to shake of a headcanon veil from eyes*
Well, she did kiss him in The Show before and it was like that. (except The Doctor rarely ever kisses back)
This play is like the best comedy for me, ever! ROFL
If this performance doesn't turn you on to the Bard, nothing will.

Cathrine Tate.
You were very lucky.
Breathe!
I bought the book and download it without problems from the application of digital theater if you had any problems contact them and they will fix it
Most websites have bad language filters, so I assumed youtube would be the same.

Super good kiss
I do not understand your comment.

@AussieHamletLover you want to see it!, how lucky you had!
Not any more. It was removed by tumblr months ago for copyright infringement. I had the bookmarks stored too. But thanks anyway.
