I wanted you to know - this SAVED me. I just finished the first edit of a podcast w/ 1 & 2 camera, am now going back through and cleaning it up. Thank you SO MUCH for this! I'm self-taught and YT and the University of Google matter! Most videos are long winded, don't get to the point (we're running on limited time here mmkay - I work full time, single mom, edit on the side for 30+ hours a week hoping to make it my new job once I get to that level) and waffle on about unnecessary things. They hide the instructions inside wordy explanations. THANK YOU for making it simple, and quite literally changing EVERYTHING for me! I use multi-camera for EVERYTHING so to have this now? OMG. Game changer. THANK YOU from someone who TRULY means it. I hope you see this, and know how much you just helped me.
well, this is a step up on creating multi cams from a couple of years ago! Loved this! Thanks so much. The icing on the cake was the finessing at the end, loved that touch, and when you flattened the nested seq revealing the coloured angles, jaw dropped!
THIS! To the point matters (it's ok get your 8 min monetization, we're not mad LOL) but YES! To the POINT please! Editors watch everything in 1.5-2x or more lol (Edit: he didn't even get the 8 min mark that's wild! Means he did it for the content, I'm floored)
What do you do when your video tracks are split differently? I have inconsistent track lengths because of different camera models having different file structures, or camera operators who stopped and started with a few seconds between shots, so Synchronize is greyed out if I try to select all of the files.
One problem I had is that my 4 cameras all had audio but in the multi cam edit those audios all blended together rather than switching from one to the other with the video. Is there a way to keep the audio from blending together so that each camera cut would include the audio cut? Thanks!
Is there a method to clip sections out? For example, I flip back & forth between two camera views. On one of the views, I would like to remove a select portion of that clip. Not from one point to the end or one point to the beginning. Not sure I am making any sense here. Thank you!
If that interview had interruptions (like if they took a break for lunch or there were some disturbances that caused them to stop and start, and the cameras kept rolling how would you cut that dead space out of the middle?
@@NonaPrince Yes, turn it down to be more simple than I thought. I couldn't understand how everything would stay in sync if I started cutting up the clips, but it worked. WOW! I think you just cut my editing time from days to hours. I've been watching each camera separately, manually writing down a time log of cuts for camera one, then doing the same for camera 2, etc. I think I'm going to try labelling the cameras before I start the multicam process though. THANKS!!!
I used to edit multicam tracks all the time with no issues. After updating to PP 24.1, when i hit 1,2 or 3 on the keyboard, it changes the camera but doesnt cut.
@@chrisbairdfilms I make copies of my keyboard shortcuts and keep another location in case of reinstalling i copy my shortcuts in the folder where keyboard shortcuts are., sorry for bad English.
I believe Adobe Premiere could improve its multicamera editing capabilities. It's surprising that this feature doesn't meet expectations given the software's overall reputation. in other word it is CRAP
Love the little tips at the end to create more efficiency! 👍

Great tips thank you for sharing. the extra motion tips for static shots was a really useful bonus.

감사합니다.~^^
You’re welcome! Thank you for your support
Bro can you the multi cam shoot video ?
Exactly what I needed to get multi-cam working in Premiere Pro 2024. And the motion effects + labels is awesome. Will have to try that
Perfect-- I watched and read other videos/blogs and you were the most clear and efficient. Thank you!
Awesome tutorial! Thank you!!
Learnt something new today! Thank you!
your tutorials are incredible, thank you very much!
This saved my day.
Thank you very much
Amazing explanation; thank you!
No need to put the clips in the timeline and sync them first, you can just multicam the clips from the bowser.
Is there a way to add the marking back on the tracks. MC1 MC2 MC3 like it used to have?
Nice and to the point - thanks for making this video!!

How do you switch between nested multicam editing and regular clips stacked? I'd like the switch between to change the effects on certain clips.
damn? that quick. thank you so much my brother!

Most useful compared to other vids :)
Nice tutorial❤
thankyou very much for the flatten trick

Valid Point 👍
Just cut the whole part out, right?

Great breakdown 🙌🏾🔥
hey, author, did i understand right this thing? you better should give color for each CAM before anything, for make easier FLAT operation?

i had to uninstall and reinstall premiere after that update, my keyboard shortcuts all reset and premiere was a mess. sucks but could be a fix!
