Sue Bird is absolute basketball royalty. She is one of the greatest players in bball history. Awesome personality and always a great interview. I don't know why Nike has never given us a Sue Bird signature shoe.

This actually the episode where Q & D really prove themselves as one of the best podcasters out there. They usually have kind of 'template' questions for all the male guests. But this one, the got lots brand new, well-craft questions. And still, there's a lot of fun we got from this one. Good, good job.

Sue came to San Antonio with the Storm. I got to talk to her briefly but not about basketball but our shared experience at UConn particularly about the UConn Dairy Bar. Everybody asks her about basketball. It was fun to talk to her about campus life even though we were decades apart. She is really a genuine person.

Man women may not be the athletic marvels that match the men's game, but when you talk about sauce...more women in the game like Cappie and the ladies Sue was putting in that class would go far...seeing someone chop people up and get buckets. Curry isn't a Universal star because he can dunk at all...advanced skills are here and more coming for the women's game. I've seen more and more girls being invited to player camps to scrimmage with the boys and as that becomes normalized (weird with the ball size thing, but more female hoopers play with the "official NBA" sized ball anyway) it will make the game that much more appointment watching. WNBA also need to get better with story telling, character support and rivalries...definitely improved
