So we're getting a archetype called dragon tale.....I swear to god if every replay video of this deck doesn't have the dragon tale's theme constantly playing I'll be extremely disappointed.
I wanted a Police/Enforcer theme so I'm hyped for K9 - I assume they'll get various characters of all shapes and sizes (not just Waifus). Yummy is hilarious and DragonTail has a nice celestial vibe! Most hyped for the artwork reveal I've been since Wild Survivors!
K9 art looks like a combination of Zoodiac and Dinomorphia to me. The name is a reference to police dog, combined to the line of beating villany makes me think that they will be designe to counter a specific playstyle or mechanic, or maybe punish the opponent to do something specifc. Considering the name and that is an Xyz Deck, it may also be a Rank 9 based Deck, so it maybe has synergy with Generaiders (Rare Dire W maybe?)

The new archrtype is called "Yummy" anyways, that card has a ★ in the name but it's not in the middle of the archetype name. Meaning that if you just search the archetype normally, you'll find it. I've frankly had more difficulty with Yu-Gi-Oh's weird spelling (shout-outs to Labrynth and Maxx) than with any sort of symbols
I'm interested in all 3. Out of curiosity, I'll wait to see what they actually do before committing to any of them. If I had to choose right off the bat, it would be between yummy and K9. They seem something a kin to melffy and purrely respectively.
i do wanna point out that the time period between this deck build pack and crossover breaks was shorter than Centur-ion's deck build pack and crossover brakers. so im wondering if crossover braker archetype will get less support then the archetypes in valiant smashers?🤔
People love dragons. And why do you have issues with Xyz? That’s like the summoning mechanic most people like. And just give it a few sets, there’ll be new zombie stuff soon.

Dragon tale shares a similar feeling to the dragon lvl 4 monster card called keeper of dragon magic where you discard a card to add normal fusion or poly card. It also lets you bring back a normal monster from gy if its a material of a fusion monster in ED. Perhaps this will fit somehow in dragon tale where they use normal monsters that are dragon tale in name for material for their fusions. Like you get addional effects for the fusion monster based on the number of normal dragon tale monsters to make it. Definitely the yummy archetype is going to pair nicely with AFD being light beasts typing that match it. The K9 archetype might be like a rank up deck to get into their xyz boss monsters. Also, they could overlay themselves through monster effect but require them to "arrest" your opponent's monster as part of their cost.
Yummy and K9 are definitely my favorites Yummy for obvious reasons. I’m not a big fan of synchro archetypes bc lately they have been toxic (tho tcg Baronne and BSD banned, but master duel still has them), but this guy looks so cute and a dessert themed deck with cute creatures are always a welcome addition! K9 is looking like they’ll be beast warriors, are xyz based, and based off the text might have very offensive battle phase cards. If they’re level 4 and can spam themselves onto the board easily, then a certain other aggro beast warrior deck that’s good at making level 4 xyz monsters 👀👀 will appreciate these guys!
Yummy makes me think it’s going to be a deck based on astronaut ice cream. Dragon tale looks like it might relate to Ryuge. The last deck looks like it will be based on police units.

I love nutz saw waifu and immediately went waifu deck lol like we only saw this art 😅 but something to note about the arts there so unique like usually when you see arts of new themes they remind you of another deck etc but they all look fully original now my fav is probably the k9 Deck cause it looks like that theme is fully based around police force/police dogs canines etc and dragon tale looks really cool too

It's in their lore. Dinomorphia are dinosaurs because they are dinosaurs that survived extinction and evolved to look humanoid. K9 is probably going to be beast-warrior because they're animal people. Ripper for example has fur on her arms and legs and has an almost pronounced snout. She could not be more beast/beast-warrior type without fully making her an anthro
The k9 art honestly Vanquish Soul Pantera. So maybe this isn't a waifu deck but another deck whose more like Vanquish Soul? A few waifu cards bust also a few dudes and monsters.
dragon tales look like trash ngl. hate it garbage yummy look delicious. because they are synchro and light beasts it's more than obvious they are being made now in order to indirectly work with ancient fairy dragons archetype. so they are probably going to be generic and have effects that special summon or search light beasts as opposed to specifically mentioning "yummy" monsters k9's might be rank 9's lvl 9's or lvl 3's rank 3's with 3 materials cause of their name unless that isn't in the Japanese name
Yugioh is clearly lost the plot, every deck is some robotic looking dragon or mech warrior or flat out anime girl or girly cute thing. I miss the days when cards were simply random goblin with a dagger or hell bastard warrior

Yummy shares a similar artstyle with Prank Kids and Mimighoul, maybe it's the same artist which is one of my favorite art so far.
