Hello, everyone! This is Emma from the video. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and for supporting another one of Phizzle’s incredible masterpieces! I’ve loved reading everyone’s thoughtful comments and insights-it truly means a lot. I wanted to leave a quick comment to address something for future viewers, especially if you’ve seen Phizzle’s earlier video where I spoke with my natural American accent. For context, I currently live and work in a rural community in Liberia, where I am the only foreigner. In my community, series English isn’t commonly spoken here-Koloqua is the primary language used in everyday life in my community. To have a deeper connection with my community and immerse myself in Liberian culture, I’ve been learning and practicing Koloqua. This video reflects not only my progress after five months of living here since I last appeared in Phizzle’s previous video, but also my genuine effort to embrace the culture and build meaningful relationships within my community. I know my accent is not good because I am still learning and practicing, and I want to sincerely apologize if it comes across as annoying or patronizing in any way as that is not my intention. I’m still a beginner and practicing every chance I get (including in this video!), and this is just where I am in my learning process. My intention has always been to show appreciation and respect for Liberia and its people. I also wanted to show that foreigners such as myself are interested in Liberian culture and languages by showing my effort in trying to learn Koloqua. I sincerely love this country, which is why I’m committed to this journey. Thank you for understanding and for sharing your perspectives-I truly enjoy engaging with all of you. Looking forward to seeing what Phizzle creates next! Thanks again for watching!
Bruh, you’re doing well with your contents. Job well done👏🏾 Please try to get two mics that are strapped onto your guests and you to avoid stretching your hand across throughout interviews. Its really hectic for your and doesn’t add to your brand. Thank you so much.
I like that they were all respectful and honest about their views and betterment of Liberians as well Liberia for all and its residents! Liberians in and out of the country all need to view ourselves and prospective of the country in a new light. (Our mind set) on many things (live in Liberia or abroad) definitely needs changing or working on.! We gatto take accountability of our choices and actions. Be law abiding! Be supportive of our fellow Liberians for us all to succeed! And improving our individual knowledge (Skill or academic career.! To name a few, but are our base roots to move forward and move the country with us!
❤Doing kind things for others brings people together. The more you show your love for others, the less prejudiced you become. The more love you feel, the less room you leave in your heart for hatred or contempt.
Good job Phizzle I really enjoyed ur videos and how u think outside the box and a thank u 🙏 to all of guess and their experience in mama Liberia 🇱🇷 and how we Liberian could do to move forward
@Phizzle it will also be great to ask many of the African residents in Liberia… The #Nigerians #Ghanians #Sierra_Leoneans and #Guineans too! Look forward to that 👍🏾 Thanks for your hard work!
Liberians are lovable people and I love the since of community we have there wished I missed and can’t wait to move back. I will love for Liberian to work on their mind set and inferiority complex. I’m a Liberian living in the US and this is my honest opinion.
❤If we have affection only for people who are similar to us, our heart becomes closed or cramped. To avoid that problem, we must be willing to befriend those who are different from us.
Honestly!..our country is a very nice place to live. But we as citizens just need to put all of the negativities & politics aside like the German national said & then focus on loving each other & putting mama Liberia first above politicians who doesn’t have no one interest in our country. I hope to have an interview with Phizzle on my next trip to Liberia by God’s grace pls.
I would encourage my fellow Liberians to look up the regions these ppl hailed from. One thing we know about us Africans is that we never learn from history, especially Liberians , because the war has left majority of the country illiterate. Also, the country is cursed with non-patriotic, corrupt, and dishonest politicians. Look up what’s happening in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. Learn about the reason our country was thrusted into a civil war in the first place. Knowledge is power! Remember that. Don’t allow foreigners to come into the country and take the best part of your land. Wake up! Change your mindsets. My goal is to return home some Day and help with educating our youth. My plan in life wasn’t to spend so many years of my life helping to develop another man’s country while mine sat in ruins. We were taken out of the country through no fault of ours. Someday Liberia will be on top again.
Every investment in Liberia is a blessing, every helping hand welcome. The corruption of Liberians within is 99% of any problem. There are literally heroes of foreign origin to the cause of bringing Liberia up such as Mr. Eid and the owners of Libassa etc. who would fall on the sword for Liberia and risk every last dollar. And plenty of Liberians are stepping up too, so hope to see your substantial contribution soon. I agree with your comment about land, however that hasn't been an issue so far, as Liberians own the vast portion of Liberia, including coastal areas.
❤If we have affection only for people who are similar to us, our heart becomes closed or cramped. To avoid that problem, we must be willing to befriend those who are different from us.
Good perspectives from foreigners living in Liberia. The Unites States is advance today because The U.S. welcomes highly skilled people from around the world and gives them special work visas, & some get permanent residency that eventually leads to citizenship. There are many businesses, medical facilities and universities in The United States being headed by foreign nationals who are legal residence and naturalized U.S. citizens. Liberians have to be open-minded in attracting highly-skilled foreigners by given them work or resident visa to carry their necessary skill-sets to help develop Liberia. On this note, why would Liberians stop an African-American from being president of the University of Liberia if she meets all necessary qualifications? Furthermore, her spouse is a Liberian. 👍🏿💖🇺🇸 .
The United States is not advanced because they get highly skilled people. The people you call highly skilled, they get them to give them lower pay. The United States is advanced because of slavery. The free labor and the stealing of inventions and patents of the slaves and also going to the continent and stealing made this economy. Not to mention they never gave reparations and were stealing from free slaves' bank accounts, stealing land and burning down successful black towns. Hibdon Tires, which is right up the street from my house, started their business from stealing rubber from Liberia while going there to colonize the free slaves. Now there are stores all over the country. Most of the big companies here came from that era and are billionaires and millionaires today. If you have stolen everything that you have for centuries, including a people for free labor, and then you don't pay people what they are worth and never paid your debt, you should be more advanced than anyone, yet we are nowhere near advanced as China. Let's put out truth and not revisionist history or alternative facts. The Colonizers are already trying to change history about Black Americans ONCE AGAIN. They don't need help.
