The daydreaming aspect is so refreshing and new, it's rarely mentioned in videos yet so important, thank you for saying it.
I could not sleep for a few months, but with daydreaming in bed it seems like it is a transport to the real dream land, I fell asleep immediately.
Thank you for your loving and positive presence, it makes everything better.

Hi Samurai. I'm an ESL teacher so I know about foreign pronunciation. Why worry about an accect? After all you are Japanese and your followers like that. 😊 I truely enjoy your advice/tips. They're really practical. I usually listen to your channel before I go to bed because you're always in a good mood. 😅. Sorry I don't drink matcha, instead I drink *mate*. You see I live in Argentina. I love the part about thinking good things before sleep. If something someone did or said hurts me, I try to imagine that they had a bad day or a bad experience. I feel sympathy for them and it's very hard to stay mad.
I once had a short, very sharp conversation with a lady I knew. Instead of getting mad, I asked her if she was OK. She said well no, she never talks about personal things, but her dog had died that morning and she was trying to hold it together until she got home. I don't think I'll ever forget that.
I love your accent. Your voice is musical and calming. Thank you.

As a youtuber myself you have to think this way: "You get hundred and hundred of positive comments and just 2 - 3 negative ones. Why should I focus on the negativ one when I got hundred of good ones?"
After this I stopped caring about them. I thought "Yeah, its nice how you spend your time. Watching and commenting on a video you dont like. I feel sad for your lonely life".

But I want to express my gratitude that you used the phrase "to feed two birds with one scone" - breaking up old patterns of thinking (for example when it comes to how we treat animals) our daily usage on language has a great effect on both our own mind and of those around us. Thank you so much for being a role model in this regard!

New to your channel. Adore you. Your smile is uplifting. Great tips and excited to watch more of your videos to get inspiration. Americans need these tips very badly, lol! So thank you for doing videos in English. What a huge gift to speak another language. Only the soulless care about pronunciation. The point of learning another language is not about pronunciation. Connecting, heart to heart...that's everything. I regret not learning a different language, I miss out on more beautiful connections and understanding the world through a new magnificent language lens. Thank you for connecting me to your culture. Japanese culture is fascinating and has so much wisdom. I know Americans would benefit greatly from all this sage advice. Culturally we are wild stubborn teenagers that have never grown up, lol!

The daydream tip is gold. I've been doing it my whole life. Sometimes I daydream about work. Yes, work. (not when I'm in vacation mind you!) And all the stuff that happened but could/should/wanted to go differently. Turning a frown upside down if you will. Other times I think about memories, happy ones. Sometimes, it's just ideas: what if...
And I slowly cross over to dreamland. I've never know otherwise. Sleeping with an empty mind or worries is so weird to me.
It's like driving a car and putting it in reverse while driving: bad. No, keep driving but take your hands of the steering wheel and see where the road takes you.
Thanks for a very nice video!!! Enjoyed it a lot!! (so that's why I feel so tired after taking a bath!! I should do it in the evening!!)
A tip for when you don't have a bathtub: you can purchase so called "sit baths". They're like half the size of a normal bath, twice as high and you actually sit in them. Mostly they're in plastic, but it's so nice to be able to sit in warm/hot water when you only have a shower. Only downside is letting the water out, which is trough a hole that you plug up. If you turn the little 90 degree tube outside to far o or don't close it very well, it leaks.
