    Oh how I wish I had a rotisserie. I'm so jelly! Great looking turkey , Chris!! 🍗
    I love how you always have a pizza box ready for your next cook. I'm thinking you might need a pizza stone. Then what would you do without those boxes? 🤔

      Hey Jon, the rotisserie is my new favorite it's easy to set and clean up the grill and it makes real good food. This unit I have fits both the kettle and the wsm. here's the link: www.cajunbandit.com/Weber-WSM-Kettle-Rotisserie-Kits-s/101.htm Would you believe I have four pizza stones... lol. 2 square, 1 rectangle and 1 round and we still order pizza... Thanks for stopping by : )

    biggs u from ny? nj im from north jersey. how long would u put breast on the weber with wood chips? how long on rotisserie?yours looked like about 7pounds am i right?lol yes the charcrust product was invented in a steakhose by al farber it makes amazing porterhouses make u wanna slap yo mama!

    • @BiggsHomeCookin
      @BiggsHomeCookin  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      northeast nj... I had to go back to the video, this cook took about an 1 1/2 hrs @ 350-375 I did not add smoke to this cook because I like the crispy skin... that's why the higher temps. If i were to go low and slow with wood chips it would probably cook @ 250-275 for around 3 hrs give or take... yeah those turkey breast run about 7 lbs.

      Hey Christy the turkey breast was delicious! Setting up for a rotisserie cook on the kettle is easy and so is clean up. I saw the red kettle at Lowes today and was tempted... it looks so cool... but I refrained from buying, as I really don't need it at this moment... Hey you never know though... lol.

    • @ChristysCookingLifestyle
      @ChristysCookingLifestyle 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Biggs' Home Cookin', I was gonna cancel my Amazon order and go get one at Lowes but it rained all day today and with my husband's work schedule today was the only day I could've went. Oh well, I can wait a little longer😞If I already had a kettle I probably wouldn't get it, since I was wanting one anyways, just good timing that the red one came out.😃

    looks amazing i almost took off your thumb when i attacked my screen biting like a shark.lol i just got my farberware rotisserie back running . it was down with a broken motor for 3 years, got 1 from ebay for$ 20. i have a weber but i see the rotisserie is=like 99 bucks for it so i was going to do this, either start mine on my indoor rotisserie then finish off on my weber with some cherry and apple wood for flavoring or start it on weber then put it on my farberware rotisserie, the indoor rotiss is good but im sure nowhere near as efficient as your charcoal rotiss is, i think maybe doing indoors then finishing off on grill would be a better way to go, i was thinking also about injecting it and brineing it too overnight, last 1 i did was small and i overcooked it, those webers are efficient and cook quick with the lid on. cheers, i did a steamship beef in 99 for a y2k party i had here it was great took like 5 hrs i injected it with fresh garlic and olive oil it was big like 12 lbs. i never did ribs either but im going to, i have had the thing since 1988 and have just used it for chickens cept the beef the 1 time i wanna do a pork on it too.

      Thanks for stopping in GRILLBUOY101 and for subbing. This turkey breast turned out fantastic on the rotisserie... glad you didn't take my thumb off. I would start out on the Weber w/smoke and then finish on the rotisserie... you could also try it your way and see which way you like better... but smoke will penetrate and stick to meat better when it is raw.

    Looks like a great one Chris. I was wondering About the cardboard you always do the seasoning on.

    • @BiggsHomeCookin
      @BiggsHomeCookin  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Mack... getting good results with the rotisserie. About the cardboard, I hate to make a big mess... it's easy cleanup. I save the take out pizza boxes if there clean.

      the top stays clean the bottom not so much... one less cutting board for mama to clean... the bigger ones don't fit in the dishwasher.
