I wish that instead of Scarlet Aeonia, we got the other move in her phase 2 when she jumps in the air and sends shadow version of herself flying towards people and then dashes forward herself for a quick stab. That would’ve been sick.
The Scarlet Aeonia would be viable if it was sped up in it's animations and also letting the player roll out quickly of the Aeonia once casted, that thing does nasty damage.

While he doesn't have an actual boss fight in the game (yet?), you could do a Miquella build based on what is in the lore. Right-hand weapon is St. Trina's sword (as St. Trina is Miquella's alter ego) or Miquellan Knight's sword, in addition to faith casting (anything other than dragon comm. incants goes tbh, Miquella mastered Golden Order magic but turned away from it so that leaves other flavors of faith spell open too). No idea what the armor would be though. Probably some variant of robes that isn't tied too heavily to one particular character (so not Rennala or Mohg's for example).
he’s definitely saved up for a dlc boss, but if i had to guess he’d almost be akin to griffith from berserk, or an angel, with silver armor, either or would suffice
I've done this one in PvE. Works best to use Godskin Swaddling Cloth instead of Pearldrake as well as Kindreds of Rot instead of Blood Lord's for the true Melania experience. Not the most efficient or overpowered build but it was pretty fun if I'm being honest.
Godskin swaddling is great with this weapon, basically brings back the rally mechanic from bloodborne. The talismans I used is Rotten winged sword insignia Millicents prosthesis Shard of alexandr Godskin swaddling cloth

You could try doing a Carian Knight / Moongrum build. They use Carian Knight Armor and Carian Knight’s Sword (which has a badass weapon art). Spells would be the Carian Slicer, Piercer, and Greatsword. I was playing it today and it fully converted me from unga bunga Strength build to Intelligence and Dexterity.

There's no way malenia is the hardest in souls history. People hype her up to be way too hard when the only hard mechanic to dodge is the waterfall dance, which you can just BHS out of. There are several fights that aren't just hard because of one attack, even in elden ring, not even talking about the whole souls series. Do you think any other moves are hard to counter? Can't tell why people think she's that hard.

I feel like you could maybe use double strike on a katana and it would be kinda canon. She does that 4 hit combo thing where she disconnects the katana from her arm during her fight, so it would be as close as you can get to emulating that. She also has an attack that is similar to piercing fang. Maybe you just run 3 different right hand katanas with different ash of wars? One of course being her signature one.

Since the Banished Knight recommendation got made into a build, I’d suggest some SoulsBorne builds, cosplaying as some of the NPCs and Bosses, so far I’ve figured out the builds for Lady Maria, Sister Friede, Nameless King, Dancer of the Boreal Valley and an Abyss Watcher.
What’s your idea for Abyss Watcher? I was thinking Banished Knight helmet on Ronin Set. Weapons can be either Banished Knight Greatsword with that flip attack ash of war, or bloodhound curved sword (a little cheating, but the moveset fits well), with either a sickle or black knife in the offhand. Probably use some miracles like the Bloodflame Blade incantation.
@@blizzardgaming7070 I think Ronin armor has metal in all the right spots and has more of that "rugged knight" look than Patches. And the Banished Knight helmet fits better than just a mask IMO. That tall helmet look is signature for Abyss Watchers
If you haven't done so yet, you should try to see if you make a build based off of Godwyn. Idk what weapon would be, but you can use the lightning incantations, and the one that leaves Death Blight fumes behind (the move that Fortissax uses), and Vyke's Dragonbolt (since it was his friendship with Fortissax that gave birth to Dragon Communion and only those blessed by dragons can survive imbuing their bodies with lightning). As for armor, Tree Sentinel Set would probably fit best, because of its Golden color, minus the helmet. Or perhaps Leyndell Knight armor, but I doubt that Leyndell Knight's armor is the best choice.
Waterfowl dance also gives you hyperarmor so combined with high-poise and robustness armor you're pretty much uninterruptable as well. The one-shot potential is truly great with the right build.
If there is a katana that can have giants hunt you can replicate her one shot stab and you can you bloodhound with charge attack to mimic her dash forward attack

Regarding the vulnerability of the Scarlet Aeonia, when I was fighting Malenia I found that my strength weapons just weren't worth it with how she'd often just decide to have infinite poise. So I found a nice little cheese strat of poking at her with the serpent hunter from behind the fingerprint shield. Easy I know, but so satisfying when taking her ego into consideration. Though I didn't have enough weight to carry my trusty pulley crossbow for the job, so I chucked kukri's at her when she was doing her flower thing and it was enough to proc bleed every time.
My strategy for phase two was having a claymore with storm blade ash of war (Quality build). I would spam it from a distance while she was in the flower or floating. Super effective.
Cleanrot Knight Armor with the Malenia winged helm and two of these blades is _A E S T H E T I C_ . Just wish I could also keep the red mantle. Some Bloodborne Hunter's Bone dodging would complete it.

As somebody running an Occult build with Spectral Lance involved, i wouldn't hesitate for a moment to spam that shit if you were in the middle of Scarlet Aeonia lmfao
If you can you could try a Godwyn the Golden build. He would clearly know lightning spells and death lightning. The only clothing you ever see him in is a skirt or kilt. It never says what his weapon was probably an axe do to him having the golden in his name. Sorry for the poor build details but you don’t really get much info on him
This build but without scarlett aeonia feels much better. You can focus more on other stats, therefore you can do light rolls and have a bit more health. This build is great 1v1 most of the time but it is sickening how great this build does on 1v3 invasions especially in narrow areas even against skilled players. The day i casually just changed my build to malenia cosplay with low expectations because of how simple this build looks, i won over 100 invasions (majority) which only few of them were 1v1. However there are some builds with high poise and annoying stagger that might be very difficult to play against especially 1v2.
It's not worth using in PvP, wish it gave back a larger percentage or proc'd faster instead of the 87 HP with 1900 vigor per 5-7 hits like it does now. Even if you manage to chain phantom hits and manage to proc it multiple times it won't make a difference in a 1v1.

This malania one is good in pve it does bleed and it does 2000+ in a full weapon art with +9
