I printed a special edition of The Phantom comic for a comic book company, there were 1000 numbered issues with all set-up sheets to be destroyed, but as the printer I retained 1 unnumbered for colour proof. I still have that issue along with some rare items including Spiderman Vs Superman special and a compilation called Bring on the Bad Guys by Marvel.
The Phantom will soon be part of a new TV series called "Matinee Movie Serials" hosted by Captain Styletto - produced by Morcaman Productions, Inc and to be shown on Spydar TV.
The Phantom movie serial is my favorite out of all the classic serials, with the Shazam serial being an extremely close second. I flip flop between the two as my two favorites! Way back when Marvel started there own Cinematic Universe, they said that they would be making mini short films in serial format to be shown right before the main movie starts. Now that they’ve completed the 10 year Infinity Saga and are rolling out a brand new phase, I’ve yet to see a Marvel Studio Short film played before the main picture! It would’ve been so much fun to see these shorts in theaters calling back the days of old. Unfortunately this will probably never happen. Marvel Studios will be releasing multiple live action mini series on Disney+. This is great for a number of reasons but damnit, I still want my Marvel serial short films! Well, we still have our classic superhero serials from the Golden Age of Cinema!

For a 1943 serial they did a great job with the costume which is really accurate. Also, Tom Tyler was a perfect choice.
A legendry hero who live since my childhood till today. My favourite.

How they did a lt of those stunts and survived is just incredible. Great stuff.
