This reminds me that talk show hosts have no idea how to give interviews these days..you learn so much about a musician from interviews like this bc of the way interviews like this are conducted. These days it seems like people are talked over, and the focus is often taken off of intelligent conversation and replaced with something that they think will bring them views or likes.

when he said "Music is the only thing we have left where people dont kill each other" Tupac and Biggie instantly popped into my head, tho theres been many other rappers that have lost their lifes, it's interesting to think their was a time when music didnt lead to violence... Just Peace Love and Happiness

It's so ironic that the masses are born with physical sight see everything every day of their life, yet fail to maintain being genuine from childhood into adulthood and developing their natural genius potential which would afford them an abundant material success. Ray Charles proved that.....feeling is knowing and seeing is believing, but hearing can be either or.

If you constantly work for the man and never for yourself, in the end you will end up with little or nothing. Ray really learned the buisnes and made it work for himself. Thank you Mr. Ray Charles.

Boy all the people that said wonderful things about Ray Charles here, man that’s win place and show.. I’ll never attack anyone because of their personal demons and we know he had those and really who doesn’t.
Ray is and was my Elvis and yeah I know I’ll get spanked for saying that. But to me that stuff never registered musically with me . But he was so true and honest and light years ahead of anything or anyone around. We all know he was loaded with soul in anything he ever put to tape all came right from his heart!
    If there’s a heaven I hope he’s still headlining when I get there 😊😊
