I have been re-watching the Jaffa Factory/Site B/Moon Quest/Hole Diggers recently, & I forgot how infectious Duncan's proper laugh can be. Not quite as infectious as Sips', but not far off.

I would actually really want to see a new Minecraft series with Yogscast like the good old Tekkit series. Sure I'd miss Sips Co's shenanigans, but just the gang doing dumb shit in Minecraft again would heal a very darkened mind. Perhaps it would even heal Lewis' diminishing mental state considering that intro... it all started with him just shouting in a park that it was a sponsored video... just to let us know.
I would love to see either a Minecraft series with the scope of Cornerstone or the running story like SOI. Or maybe a storyline that runs in the background like with flux buddies. Just more Minecraft with the Yogscast would be nice.

I haven't watched a Yogscast video in probably five years, this randomly just popped up in my suggested and Jesus Christ man. Yogscast and the Creatures were my childhood. The Survival island videos, the Jaffa Factory videos, the Original Minecraft lets play, Shadow of Israphael, Yoglabs, the mod showcase videos, the wall videos. It's insane how I watched all of this 8 to 10 years ago when I was like 12 and I still remember it all. These guys provided us with so much entertainment it's insane. Honestly when I have the time I might go back and re-watch a series or two. Very impressive that a 'lets play' channel has lasted this long as well.

I think the actual Jaffa Factory series was back when the Yogscast were peak popularity. Since then people have dropped off but i've always stayed subscribed.
2012-2013 I believe was the Tekkit craze from Yogscast, Duncan was the one to get me into Tekkit. I still consider it a masterful modpack, updating it is near impossible now because it just feels weird with the new textures for the wires and pipes, plus all the new additions for them, all very sad that Tekkit isn't bigger than it should be.
Seeing this again I watched the whole series when each video came out it was a highlight of my child and why I’m a loyal YOGSCAST fan Lewis and Simon are my favorite you tubers ever

Man, the music texture pack and memories. Not just of the Jaffa Factory but this made me flashback to all of old Yogs. Its crazy how I remember being a kid and seeing SoI and a teen with Jaffa and now Im in my 20s crying over a guitar rift. You really don't appreciate what you have till its gone or changed.

This just brought back a level of nostalgia that I am just not comfortable with hahah really miss those long Minecraft series that were 100 episodes long.
I feel like we can't have more Jaffa Factory-esque minecraft series because Twitch and the general streaming model that seems to be the norm for Yogscast long-form content these days is just fundamentally incompatible. There's the obvious problem of how to edit long streams into cohesive and interesting sequences with the different participants' perspectives, but there's also the obligation they have as streamers to periodically interrupt whatever it is they're doing to read and reward the messages from their audience.
Duncan's channel has a of streams edited into more digestible content. He streams Dread Hunger and games with Rave, Boba and Pedguin. It doesn't seem out of the scope of the editing team.
Yeah sadly this is spot on. There was way more coordination and vague storyline with those series that just isn't as profitable as showing up and playing a game for a couple hours. Sadly it is my issue with my most minecraft series now, there is no big over arching storyline and exciting finale/goal, just completing a series of tasks.
@@carsonskjerdal473 have you watched the hermitcraft server, or the empires SMP? both are at least semi story based, with hermitcraft having several alliances and groups and teams that form to do different things together, and the empires SMP being a kingdom storyline! i love them both, and hermitcraft is known for having some of the most talented and creative minecraft players on it

I rewatched the Jaffa Factory this month, and figured I'd throw this in too. Some things I noticed: There's actually four Iron Golems. In order of being built: Thunder, Bolt, Jarvis, and The Crusher The hot dog stand never got an interior in the original series. This map finally gave it a purpose!

Sadly it is my issue with my most minecraft series now, there is no big over arching storyline and exciting finale/goal, just completing a series of tasks.
@@carsonskjerdal473 have you watched the hermitcraft server, or the empires SMP? both are at least semi story based, with hermitcraft having several alliances and groups and teams that form to do different things together, and the empires SMP being a kingdom storyline! i love them both, and hermitcraft is known for having some of the most talented and creative minecraft players on it

I had to pause one second in because I'd already started crying from laughing. What a fuckin intro.
I rewatched the Jaffa Factory this month, and figured I'd throw this in too. Some things I noticed:
There's actually four Iron Golems. In order of being built: Thunder, Bolt, Jarvis, and The Crusher
The hot dog stand never got an interior in the original series. This map finally gave it a purpose!
It's not the same with out our loveable dwarf who made this factory Simon.
Lewis's slow descent into madness is a thing of beauty.
Also, nice to Ravs taking a more active role in the ads and promotions.
I just wanna go watch the whole series again now.
Love seeing Yognau(gh)t Boba remembering details about the old series and trying to get it restarted with herself in it.
