I'd watch the BTCC as a kid on a Sunday during the 90s, i loved all the cars then, but this A4 in the Silver with Red rings was one of my favourites. It still is a proper race car. Good memories.

Being this said, this is something we've been asked in the past on similar videos and we have an idea why it feels like it. Outside footage is shot at 50+fps and the onboard sent to us is 25fps. When mashing up all together and normalizing everything to 50fps, the onboard has this "skip a beat" sort of look to it.
It's not, would even say it feels a bit faster in real life. First time I tried the car I couldn't even process the speed of it. Crazy fast cars and amazing to drive as well.
The only thing that needed for this car back in the day is a quality video/sound equipment that can give us the exact feeling that this car provides. The best engine sound by far.
Alllow me to ask: is this the same chassis than the 1.2 turbo swap? edit: bt comparing the interior of the car it seems another chassis. But if you can confirm it would be great. Keep up the good work!
It's most likely a different chassis. Andi Marko was running his A4 STW in hillclimb throughout the last 10 or so years while this car seems to have had multiple owners in this period.

The other handles are for antiroll-bar adjustment front and rear. It helps even out the balance of the car on the go, you can see me using it on my Dubrovnik video, cheers!
I’d love to a see a video about the motor in this thing. I feel like I read it has a motorcycle head on it? Like a Busa head? I know it’s based off the 2.0l 16v ABF, but not sure beyond that.
So I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but how do these people drive seemingly at the limit? Do they try their best to memorize sections, or is this really just bold and blind driving?

Different A4-this is original super touring car.
@@hillclimbracingfan5821 it is the original fwd touring car but they modified it to be awd and they put a modified ABF in it.

you memorize the track by heart
Every track is fully memorised, would be really hard to do it blindly😅
