Poker, super smash bros, basketball, baseball, soccer, etc have all been the same for years and people still love those games. Yugioh should've stayed the same as well; new cards would be fine but no need to alter the rules.
I totally agree, ever since the fucking synchro monsters it's all become way too MLG. Synchros are basically poly-less, unspecific fusions. Xyz are ritual-less unspecific ritual summons, and I don't even know how pendulum and links work...

this was an epic box duel regarding the fate of Egypt between life and death :) I have a lot of suggestions for really good box battles, but I would love to see a box battle SOD(Soul of the Duelist) VS POTD(Power of the duelist) which reigns supreme the Soul of the cards or the power of the cards to beatdown your opponent to show who's the best duelist.

Wish I had a buddy like simply unlucky to duel and kick it with, I'm like his buddy, love yugioh but haven't been in the game in a long time,they look Hella fun to chill with, got that swagger haha
Are you suppose to turn the cards when you attack?? How does defense work when the defending monster is revealed?? It's looks like an exhausted attacking monster..how do you not get them confused?
Ancient sanctuary I always thought was one of the stranger sets which were launched for this game. Think I stopped playing though some time after flaming eternity or elemental energy.
labyrinth is only suppose to change the Turn players monsters. but that could be a new wording. When yal are ever in the bay LETS DUEL. modesto aint too far
night assailant can't target himself or else he would be the most broken card in the game making all discard effects free. People would run snipe hunter with night assailant and pretty much nuke the field for no cost.
