Dalton Long yeah there’s no way why these cards shouldn’t be broken. they probably still wouldn’t be good in the meta if they were broken, so what’s the point of having them as actual bad cards? Ra is so painfully awful and in the show it’s just the most broken thing ever created. At least give it protection the ability to be special summoned, and let it gain atk equal to the monsters used to summon it. then it would be a fun casual card to play with, without having to build completely around it

I can't watch it in any other channel because I'm a casual duelist, I don't know all of the cards effects, but you guys actually take your time to explain it to us, instead of assuming we already know what they do. Awesome video man, this was so much fun, I love the anime effects (btw) you should really continue with the series. But I think you should also do anime rules for the god cards, the slider would not be destroyed by mirror force and he would be truly a "god card".
Juuu Mon no he wouldn't, this is his anime effect: slifer the sky dragon- this card can only be normal summoned by sacrificing 3 monsters. if this card is special summoned, it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard at the end phase of this turn. a summoning of this card cannot be negated. this card cannot be destroyed by the effects of any magic, trap, or monster effects, and cannot be removed from play if it is face up on the field. while this card is face up on the field, control of this card cannot shift. while this card is face up on the field, its attack and defense points are equal to the number of cards in its controllers hand x1000. whenever your opponent summons a monster, decrease its attack or defense points by 2000 until the end phase, respective of the position the monster is summoned in. if the monsters attack or defense points are lower than 2000, destroy it instead.
Luis While we're at the anime effects: remember ishizu's tactic to destroy obelisk with that trap card? If she saw it, why wouldn't something similar work on slifer?
I belive that in the Kaiba VS Ishisu duel the writers had to give ishisu a "chance" to win, and to develop kaiba's character. Thats why obelisk would have been destroyed when he clearly should not have been. It just an anime plot hole, there are plenty of those

I think the swords would either reveal that the hats are transparent (like in the Duel against Panik) or the hats would protect the monsters from being revealed. It depends who used them. If it was Yugi, he'd always get the better PIS effect.

You forgot about Dark Magician Girl's effect... she was 2300 attack when you were forced to tribute 1 face up because "Little Yugi's" Dark Magician was in the grave.
can you actually do that with Swords of revealing light? I mean I know the cards that are put into play by Magical hats are face-down, but I can't find the rule about it so I'm confused right now.
Dark Phantom tbh they both meat up magical hats can active only during battle phase technically they were in main phase 1 and yea he can't active swords cause magical is on battle phase so they were in battle phase swords isn't a quick play so they both mest up
ok I noticed three things that occurred:1: if +SimplyUnlucky actually tributes his arms and left leg to summon Slifer the Executive Producer, then he had to have summon him with his right leg...2: speaking of which, summoning a God card is very hard... you could say it cost +SimplyUnlucky... an arm(s) and a leg to do so *ba dum tiss*and last of all 3: Little Yugi beat Atem (Yami/Pharoh) I find it to be fitting, just like in the anime when Yugi defeated Atem in their final duel, so that he may return to the afterlife and finally rest. Not to say, that +SimplyUnlucky is actually someone from 5,000 years ago, and his soul got stuck in the Millennium Puzzle. Then Alex so happened to solve it and has freed +SimplyUnlucky .. I mean you know, if that was the case, but it isn't haha... or is it...?
For the final round it would be epic if you would combine the best cards of the 3 Legendary Yugi decks to make a super Yugi deck and have it go against the Legendary Decks 2
So I'm confused about the trap card Obliterate....Can you use that cards effect during your opponents turn when they summon a monster while Obliterate is out on the field?

Does anyone know how to really use performapal trump girl. My friend says it can be used to summon fusion cards using any cards he controls. On the other hand I think its used like polymerization. Please help because I'm gonna give up yugioh if I don't know
I am not familiar with the rules but why at 21:35 did the guy with the yellow sleeves have to discard?, Because this also happens to me but in ygopro and it forces me to randomly discard. Its really annoying.
Obliterate!!! cant target Gravity Bind though. 'You can target 1 monster on the field; send 1 "Forbidden One" monster or "Exodia" card from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, return that target to the hand' :)
This is a bit of a late reply and I'm not sure if you found this out later on, but the Synchro/XYZ/Fusion (And more recently, Link) monster would end up getting put back into the Extra Deck instead of going to the hand.
Alex should've attacked the dark magician girl because he binded her with spellbinding circle by anime rule binds a monster and also drains their atk points by 700

Well, with anime rules they could even trap monsters to their demise because the castle of dark illusions fell down from the sky.
Still, I think that thats not how swords should work. It just doesnt seem right.
They need to give us an errata to card of sanctity to give us the anime effect and limit it to 1. It is plus for both, could be worse.
During the second duel I would have activated obliterate and sent gravity bind back to my hand
