@@rapidotrains That would be awesome! Especially if you filmed a long segment showing the history of the Concorde and then made a HO scale model of it. ;)
A beautiful and well detailed model. A super hilarious yet very informative video, I love it. Don't ever change, you guys are the cats meow. Cheers, Rich S.
Fantastic videos guys ,, gr8 details and funny couple a guys ha ha ha ha. I havent heard much of rapido here in oz but i will be looking our for them from now on.. you seem to have an eye for detail and i like that. Cheers from John in Australia
After all the insanity in the world the past few days I needed a laugh. Thanks Jason! (Oh, I’ll take one in GTW. Please do GTW coaches again in the ‘60s GT Noodle scheme too - with the one-piece shell and truck improvements.)
Jason, another great product and another great video. I do wear the Nerd shirt. BTW do you have to have all the tablecloths with exact the same folds?lol
The trucks have been available for several years: www.rapidotrains.com/products/accessories/trucks-and-wheels We will make the couplers available too. I need about 200 pairs.... -Jason
@@rapidotrains Thanks but I already have 2 of those babies on order since launch guys lol i meant some nice coaches or Bi-Level cars maybe some older ATSF hoppers theres such a variety on roster or some killer Santa Fe Reefers mmmmmmmmmmm
I add people to my lighted passenger cars. How will passengers with no legs fit on the seats if the tables are so close to the seats. I love the detail. One is on order.
Im about 2 seconds away from ordering 2 of these but I have a question? Will the car shown here on the video be the undecorated version (silver finish).....please say yes? Or will it come in just a plain primer grey? Im not so concerned about the interior just the exterior? Thanks.....
Usually the undecorated is totally unpainted in whatever colour it's injected. Sometimes black and sometimes grey. We don't want to add a layer of paint and then have our customers add more paint on top of that. The detail will get obscured.
@@rapidotrains , Okay. I would like it to work just like it does on the mid-train domes. Where they touch, but are not pressed together when coupled to another passenger railcar.
Is there any way Richard can be contacted without having to go all the way to the Rapido office? :P In seriousness, we have a former CN (and we assume former VIA too with how much blue paint we've found!) coach at the museum I volunteer at and I've had a terrible time finding any historical information on it. I'd love to talk with someone so knowledgeable on CN passenger cars such as Richard!
waiting for it since a while..new it come soon reality..by the way..hope to see a new batch of Super Continental cars to go with the dining car...after the release of FP7a we will need cars to go with them and why not getting coaches form the CTCUM FP7a? ask Richard ..he should know all about them..he's having a good knowledge about Montreal's commuter trains..I know a lot too,but he's having much more history than me.I should invite you guys next spring..I will show you my layout and how I deal to have big thing, into a small place..especially it including some Rapido stuff...and my prototype horizon car..waiting to be combine with your new incoming release..I reserve a cab coach and 2 coaches in Montreal's commuter colors
Jason's collection of other people's things is getting pretty impressive.
We're pretty sure he's going to come back with a Concorde...

I love this collection of the best Rapido trains has to offer! I just picked up my VIA coach today, very nice job Jason!
Thank you very much!
Oh just so fabulous Jason!!!! Please never change for anyone. The dining car is also beautiful!
Thanks!
Nice! I love the details on the chairs and the tables!
Thanks!

Well we're glad you found us! We love all the folks downunder!
One of these diners are in use at the Kentucky Railway museum.
Neat!
This is fantastic great car. But I think you forgot to grab the marker lanterns for the sleeper. Any of the 3 inch off window cars available?
We should have taken everything! 😆
rapidotrains your right no collection should be bigger than Jason’s collection of Rapido.
After all the insanity in the world the past few days I needed a laugh. Thanks Jason!

Our pleasure, Dan! And we would like to make more coaches.
Jason, another great product and another great video. I do wear the Nerd shirt. BTW do you have to have all the tablecloths with exact the same folds?lol
We tried using real cloth but it didn't quite work... 😁
So are the newly tooled trucks and couplers available if people want to replace their ones from the original run cars?
The trucks have been available for several years: www.rapidotrains.com/products/accessories/trucks-and-wheels
We will make the couplers available too. I need about 200 pairs.... -Jason
Very nice guys ..if possible in future could u guys do some more Santa Fe,ATSF equipment ..i love my RDC's !!
Absolutely! The ATSF B36-7 is arriving soon!

I'm sure you'll do a good job! Unfortunately we couldn't make the table cloths actually out of cloth... 😆
Lol, that was a funny video. Gonna get me VIA diner.
Any plans to redo some of the older releases and also do more of the old CN cars??
Great! Yes, we do plan to do more runs of the Super Continental cars.
Very nice highly detailed car, will it have real working food aroma coming out of the smoke stack ?
We wish. And real slop coming out of the drain and staining everyone's track! 😁

Any chance of seeing these in the BN Executive scheme? Liking what I see thus far
That sounds like a good idea...
Thank You, as usual informative and entertaing.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Great model you guys make good models!
Thanks!
Now you just need to make them in N scale, please
Hello Rapido Trains,
Is this model diner passenger railcar going to have working railroad diaphragms?
The diaphragms are sprung, yes. But you won't want them to actually touch unless you have really huge curves.
@@rapidotrains , Okay. I would like it to work just like it does on the mid-train domes. Where they touch, but are not pressed together when coupled to another passenger railcar.
You can always change the couplers to get the exact space you want between cars. It is up to you.
Show muito lindo!
Vou querer um desses!
Perfeito parabéns!
Muchas gracias!

Send us a note through our web site and we'll forward it to Richard. Write "Attention Richard Longpre" in the heading.
Please make the seats placeable for 36, 40 and 48 seats
Unless I shrink myself to HO scale I'll be able to see all that detail.
It carries propane and oil? So it's a tank car? Doesn't matter, as long as it has fiddly bits.
Spoken like a true gentleman! 😁
Thanks dining car
Come for the comedy stay for the trains
Beauty! 😁
one question, do you make it in n-scale?
No N scale yet but maybe in the future!

We hope to do more Super Continental cars soon also!
You should do a Missouri pacific or frisco railroad rdc car
Hi there Richard! :-)
Did you remember to set the silverware on the tables?
It is planned!
Have one, beautiful car.
👍
When I started modelling you didn't even get interiors, never mind underframe detail.
My how things have changed! 😃
Well, which is it, oilly propane, or propanely oil??? 🤣
Er.... No Comment! 😆
A super-duper railcar in short.. regardless of 'oily propane' ..wait a tick! Propane is gas,is it not? 😅
that is a lot of fiddley bits
Fiddly is good! 😆
Can make UP 4466 In ho scale. Also more money out of my pocket 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We have three UP dining car numbers in this first run: www.rapidotrains.com/products/passenger-cars/ho-scale-pullman-standard-lightweight-dining-car
