Could 2x of the G3000 fit in a 2x4 I wonder? You’d have excellent coverage. I can’t find a G series that fits well in a 120x60cm or 2x4 foot tent. Currently using as SF2000 & SF1000 at about 50% > 80%. But they’re coming up to 4 years old now.
This has nothing to do with your video but I have Mars hydro 2x4 with Mars Hydro 4" inline fan/carbon filter with temp and humidity controller and the Mars Hydro sp3000 light. Good channel
The SE3000 will be a bit more energy efficient, and will run a little cooler. The G3000 is typically a bit cheaper, so you just have to decide which one to go with =)
Have you checked out the Spider Farmer G4500? Someone just pointed that one out to me for a 2x4 tent, and that could be a really interesting light in that size tent.

That G series 450 watt fixture is shaped to fit a 2x4 or a 3x5 perfectly. I can’t remember do you do a 2x4 grow now? You used to didn’t you? But kudos to SF on the more affordable G series sure they will kill just like the other ones. PPF is PPF either from a Samsung or a Bridgelux diode am I right. Marshydro has had these options all along I think SF was a little late to the game in that aspect. Around Christmas time these 300 watt ones were on sale for not much over 200$ if I remember correctly, I thought that was a lot of bang for the buck. I have personally seen the SE5000 do 20 plus zips in a 4x4 tent, bet this 300 can scratch an elbow at least. Thank You for the content brother!!!🤙

DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT!!!! I purchased a spider farmer light se7000 $1099.99. In feb 2023. Light burnt out dec 7 2023. Today is Jan 11 2024 and I still have not received replacement parts. My crop is long dead and spider farmer doesn’t seem to care.

Nice light but I think the mini sun 2 beats it hands down. Price with coupon is around $200 (420 week). But I’d say this may be #2 in this category

You could give it a go and see what happens for sure. It definitely wont be ideal, but it does put out a very solid amount of light =)

G3000 is the se3000 ??
They are similar but slightly different, they use different components to bring the cost of the G3000 down below the SE3000.

You can't fairly compare this light to the Fold 8, as that is a 760w light that costs twice as much.

We have run a 2x4 in the past, but that was more than a year ago. We may try it out again in the future, but we will just have to see =)
Yeah they G series 450 is right at 2 feet by 4 feet it would smash a 2x4 tent space👍
