This seems like a stitch-up. Why would the police kill them extra-judicially when they had already captured them? My personal opinion, after watching this video alone and having no previous background to this story, is that the rapists were the children of some police officers and the police killed some innocent people to close the case swiftly.
I heard many cases where police show fake encounters and kill the previously arrested culprits, accused or prisoned. They may do it to get promotions but fake encounter is also an unfair activity.

F-9 park is so notorious. There has been other cases where women were raped, groped, assaulted and harassed in this park but these cases were not reported. The administration needs to properly light up the park and make high boundary wall around it. Furthermore security guards should be there and a proper entrance mechanism should be there. One suspects a cover up with police trying to protect its own by not allowing these criminals to go to court especially when you say some police officials initially dismissed the crime as just a false story.
