I haven't really listen to these songs since I was in early high school, but I recently came across the HEALTH album with Crimewave and Courtship on them; A pretty creative remix of a completely different genre.
I think they’re pretty timeless, like this shit still feels fresh all these years later. but there definitely was a magic in the air when this came out like “damn, is this where music is headed? we’re in for a wild ride”

Yeah its a messed up story but no doubt they made some timeless music. The member who assaulted her was actually Ethan Kath, who was the producer and founder of CC. He formed the group when he was 28 and she was only 15/16. In the song Alice Practice, Alice was allegedly assaulted whilst recording her vocals. She asked Ethan to delete the vocals but he kept it in the song. That song in particular has a really unsettling vibe to it. Its unfortunate what happened but their music was still awesome nonetheless
This song reminds me of every single horror movie/show I’ve watched (like just small snippets). It’s very addicting though, I like the whole vibe to it.
