@@PeterPug I absolutely agree. Classic cars just give me that quirky feeling of luxury... For an example today's Mercedes cars are over designed for me, I'd rather take an sl190 or sl300 over an S Class or an AMG GT-R

I don't think I'm seeing what your seeing but you're actually right about there being a link. The Shelby/AC Cobra is a development of the AC Ace which was in turn developed from a design bought from John Tojeiro. This design (Tojeiro Bristol Special), while lacking in Italian finesse, was heavily influenced by the Carrozzeria Touring bodied Ferrari 166MM barchetta's of the day so there is a kind of visual DNA thread from Ferrari to AC/Shelby albeit a bit thin! The other thing is that the 250SWB in this clip is a Pininfarina design, not Touring as the earlier Ferraris.. what you're probably seeing is the common style and technology of the late 1950's seen in almost all cars of the period if you know where to look..
