Hi everyone ! Please, don't spoil in the comments, no spam, no links, no politic, no advertising etc and respect Teddy's wishes and ppl here. You can debate among yourselves but also without any spoilers.😌 Thanks everbody and enjoy her reaction and this ep of Haikyuu !🔥😌
This animation was intended to look more like the manga. It starts off pretty good but don’t be surprised when later in the season the animation quality declines. The second half of the season was being animated during covid so the animators were very rushed and there was a lot of struggles with it. However the moments that they saved the very good animation for are definitely worth it and i think the animation problems are easy to miss so I don’t think it will take anything away from the experience of watching it. I hope you enjoy season 4!!
i really didn't even notice the bad stuff on my first watch-through because i was so engrossed in the story. it wasn't until other reactors started pointing it out that i realized!
@You alright boi ? I think they meant the animation mistakes.. Especially ep 15.. They even said its easy to miss the mistakes.. I think everyone would agree all the important scenes had very high quality animation and the best sound tracks.
@You alright boi ? No, mistakes means proper animation mistakes which should not have happened and were later corrected for the Blu-ray version I think. If you look up about ep 15.. I think you will find a lot of memes... I do agree not every scene has to be perfect.. And I don't think the mistakes take away from the experience of the story.
@You alright boi ? You are very lucky that you don't pay much attention to those things lol. Even close ups looked very weird sometimes. Production was deffinetly struggling because of covid. But of course there were some amazing cuts sprinkled in there.
They’re easy to miss if you don’t know anything about animation, I guess. Even so, there is a reason so many people complain about the animation, and they definitely don’t all know about animation
Ushijima is the kind off guy that is like what you see is what u get from him.... Says straight up what is in his mind without measuring or filtering. That makes him look arrogant but he can back up everything he says because its all true and with no ill intent. He is even more humble than most of the other players in the series.
what the coach said about hinata not being of any worth without genius setter kageyama was somewhat true till now. hinata sucks in recieving, serving and can barely hold a decent block the only good thing about him was his speed and stamina which kageyama enabled.
yeapp, even with kageyama, hinata is only a attacking one trick machine and an extremely unbalanced player Also, there were multiple hints in this ep: "If Washijo-sensei didn't want him there, he'd just say it", "This might be far more difficult than Hinata realizes" I would also note, that in S3 when shiratorizawa lost, the expression of washijo sensei was really well drawn, it contained a lot of hints of how he is right now
Washijou doesn't hate Hinata, but see old himself in him. It's more accurate to say that he wants to see how Hinata will deal with all problems that awaits for him now and in the future. Just wait for their relationship developing, it's gonna be top tier!
Yeah i think washijou also supporting hinata cause hinata playstyle like a big person that fighting with height and when he say he not sense any worth in hinata right now cause he want hinata to realise his weakness and improve.
Very true, a lot of people take Washijou's attitude the wrong way (not that I blame them). If he actually hated Hinata, he would have kicked his ass out of the camp immediately, but instead he let him stay, presumably to test him.
i think the incident with the vice principal that got noya suspended might have dirtied his record so who knows if that's also one of the reasons why he hasn't been scouted for the all japan youth camp. that's just a guess tho. could also be that we're kinda biased since we don't get to see much of other liberos (not to say noya isn't a beast himself). the one libero they did invite to the national youth camp (you'll meet him later) is really great too.
Best character development for Hinata starts from this season and you can see the improvement throughout the series. I really love him here and he absolutely shows his love for volleyball more than anything otherwise it would have been a much embarrassing moment.
Like Kuro said in season 2, Sakusa is the top spiker in Japan, so of course he is confident in his skills, plus if you remember from the OVAs, his team beat Fukurodani in the final.
One of the many quotes I love from this show, this one's from the Japan's coach: "Let's prove to everyone that volleyball's more interesting than they thought."
16:01 ehehehe that look. for one of my fav characters too. i hope you'll like that one. we've encountered the ball boy arc !! one of the most pivotal points for hinata as a character (even though the 2nd hand embarrassment from seeing him sneak in is kinda bad lmao) also yess, you can watch the opening !!
Pandemic... you just have to watch episode 12 from the first half, that episode was Movie-level animation, nobody can't deny that. [REDACTED] match had a lot of moments, the only really bad episode was 15. Even so, the animation was nothing but amazing, obviously inferior to Shiratorizawa's season, but the reasons are obvious. I'm guessing they're delaying the announcement but producing it already, the next season is the most important so far and they surely want to make the best for it. I've nothing but hopes.
This season you get glimpses of Hinata's growth slowly and gradually. And after this season Hinata just straight up grows so explosively that he just steals all the spotlight.
I don't want to say much but if I was a coach I would be the opposite of Washijo sensei, but if I have to choose I would choose Washijo sensei to be my coach.
I think something I realized only after you noticing it I guess finishing the series I guess. A lot of the characters in The National youth camp I have very interesting personalities, and I like to think that it's cuz all of them are geniuses in some sort so they're all really hard to get along with so they may come off as not normal or odd or rude or what have you, but I just thought I'd be an interesting point to bring up that all these oddballs are just so good at volleyball they don't know how to be regular people a lot of the time
I don't know if you got it, but Hinata was planning to sneak in to the all japan national youth training camp, he just didn't since hinata heard that he might get arrested so that he snuck in at shiratorizawa instead
the fact that hinata suck at volleyball at this point in the series is not arguable, dude can't do serving, passing, receiving, manage to touch one ball out of 10 during blocks. the only utility he's got is being enabled by Kageyama's exceptional level so Washijou aint really hating here, don't get me wrong i love hinata's character and what he's able to bring but for now he bad bad.
its not a spoiler since they mentioned it in season 2. itachiyama is considered the best Team in Japan am sakusa is the ace and among the Top three Spikers in the nation
Teddy you should definitely watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.... It's one of the best shows ever created (Anime or Non Anime). The story will leave you broken and full at the same time ❤️.... I hope you take it up coz it's just godly ❤️
Thb I dont think that Hinata is worth more than a ball boy in this moment , he can't receive, can't block in a consistent way and can't serve. Without kageyama what can he do? honestly
Hinata's reaction and *actions* about those youth camps plus the rage and sadness that he wasn't invited to them is something that you should never forget. Ever. These episodes are SO important on his growth even if they give second hand embarassment... Hope you enjoy this season! Shiratorizawa's trainer does not hate Hinata. Besides, he is such a key character towards Hinata evolution in this season but also in the manga! but no spoilers, so enjoyyyyy!!!!!
I think Washijo maybe does resent Hinata a bit because when he was young he was told he was too short to play despite being a very strong all around player. Meanwhile, Hinata's strength is his motor and his jumping ability but he lacks in receiving, serving, blocking. It's probably tough for Hinata to hearing Washijo say he didn't see a lot of talent in him outside of Kageyama. But honestly, without the freak quick he's still pretty one-dimensional player, and that's before you consider his height. Luckily Hinata isn't a character who is so easily discouraged.
I think wahijo not really resent hinata and him saying not sensing any worth without kageyama are fact in this current timeline and i think because he relate to hinata he just helped him by letting him join as ballboy. I think wasijou want hinata to improve cause if he still want to play in the future he have to be better than most all the tall player, cause we see in the flashback wasijou not choosen not only cause he short it also cause his skill not way ahead the tall guys.
I remember watching this episode for the first time and was feeling superrrr frustrated and sad for Hinata. He had worked so hard on his own, it's just that there was no one to actually coach him :( but, but the world will see you someday Hinata! TT And 16:01 I know, right? 😏
Definitely; Hinata doesn't good at basics like serving and receiving because in his middle school he doesn't have any proper practice in match . So we can say he played proper vollyball after coming to karasuno.
Anyone knows where she got that quality of posters from or if anyone can recommend a place where to get some? Great reaction by Teddy as well. Just catching up on her Haikyuu reactions
The only thing i dont like about this new animation is the inconsistency of the quality, some scene may look very good but some other looks like they too lazy to do it... the ilustration is closer to the manga but the animation is just not as good as the previous season.. oh well, i hope they can do better in season 5..
One episode (or maybe 2 don't remember exactly) was made by different studio (main studio was working on something different and they didn't make it in time or smh like that) so animation is much worse in it. U will notice it instantly when you will see it
The drawing will be changed from this season, and it will be closer to the original work, but it still lacks a sense of speed. It's still interesting, though.
If Washijo really hated Hinata he would not let him be a ball boy. He just thinks that He doesn't deserve a spot because he needs Kageyama to play well. And that's actually true. At the moment he cant serve, receive is a bad blocker and if the freak quick isn't involved is not a great spiker but probably only a little above average. Also Washijo thinks that Hinatahasn't the potential to be as good as the others he invited. That said, he allowed him to stay as a ball boy probably because he saw how hungry for improving he is(so in some ways he likes him). But at the same time he can't accept him normally, because it would be a precedent and other players could do the same thing of Hinata and join the training camp without permission in the future.
Ok, I might get hated for this but I think Noya wasn't invited also because he's not as good as people see him. Not that he isn't good, he is no doubt, but not as the other liberos like Yaku or Komori. He's flashy and his receives shine even more because most of the Karasuno is very mediocre with receives (and some are straight-up horrible like Hinata or Tsukishima). One of the most important arcs for Hinata is here and it's gonna be a ride. So many people hate on coach Washijo for not letting Hinata join, but the thing is, he could (and should) send him home straight away. It's a big no-no and very rude to invite yourself somewhere where you weren't supposed to be in Japan (and in most countries). I'm not going to say more because that would be a spoiler, but all this is important (and not a filler ffs)
Yeah i agree, even nishinoya say that a good libero is the one that not stand out. And for washijou, he already kind enough to let hinata join as ballboy cause if he let hinata play by that logic everyone will come and beg to join and not really a selected training camp.

if you really think about it at this point Hinata Soyo isn't really that good compared to Kageyama and Tsuki right now at least the only reason is that the only thing he is really good at is spiking he's not good at receiving or setting his ok at blocking but, to be honest ill take Tsuki over Hinata any day of the week for blocking. Noya is the best Libero. I will beat your ass if you say otherwise.
