One of the rare actors that don’t hide their accents in movie roles, same with Arnold Schwarzenegger. My southern accent is too thick, if I try to talk “normal” I wind up sounding, well, feminine 😂 Also, can’t wait to take my boy fishing. He turns 2 in May.

I was an extra in the movie 42 in Macon, Ga, a background baseball player. Lucas was the only actor who spoke to us extras, the rest acted like we were invisible. It was hot as hell and we were out in a field with him shagging fly balls for a scene and he thanked all of us for being out in the heat with him. I'll never forget that, Lucas is a really cool, down to earth guy.
